Pluses:

Garage kept and maintenance records are a good sign for sure, make sure those records check out.

Interior and exterior definately look nice.

Manual transmission is Sickk.

Japanese made vehicles seems to be pretty solid and efficient, lots of aftermarket shit that is cheap i bet

New clutch is good same with battery

Cons:

Pretty high miles, but for that price you prob wont get any better

Probably isnt very great on snow/ice so you would need to buy snow tires if you drive on snow alot.

Needs a ski rack.

Pictures kind of look like its in a used car place but it says a couple owns it and is selling because of moving?

Well, definately take it for a drive and possibly have it checked out by a local mechanic.

Listen to the engine and make sure it doesnt have any weird sounds.

Check the body for possible wreck damage. Definatley look at every little thing. Make sure to see if the electronics work. Take a close look at the engine too. Talk them down to the lowest price possible if you really want it.

This car is like the same price with similar miles too, plus personally I trust Toyotas alot more. This one actually looks like its a private dealer too.

And, take your time to find the right car too mang. Dont just buy the first one you see. Car dealerships will hound the hell out of you. Look for a good deal from a private owner who took good care of their vehicle is the best way

made in south korea.

ask for the VIN so you can do a carfax.

its the GT model because of the V6. still front wheel drive. might have torque steer.

Hyundai are definitely not on my list of "solid" cars. Most are pieces of shit, shipped over here are price point cars. Sure, most come with great warranties, but its for good reason - you'd be insane to buy one without it. Parts are cheap, but shop time and the sheer amount of maintenance will run you dry. Also, good luck trying to sell it for anything once you're over it. These cars are cheap new, but they depriciate so fast you probably eat the difference you'd pay in buying a more well known model. Overall, anything asian other than Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mazda or Subaru is just not a good idea. Hyundai is getting better, but not yet, and certainly not this car.

Honestly after looking at that site for a bit, there are alot of cars for sale in your area. If you can afford to wait, I would look for an older luxury car with low miles that someone is getting rid of for a lower price. Or there are a lot of toyotas too, which are pretty high luxury.

I've never seen one break down, but then again I've only seen maybe 2 of them in my life, if I were you I'd look at a Subaru or Toyota, they make a much more time-tested car and hold value better.

Don't do it. If you're are going in the direction for a tuner car get a Civic. The earley 90s ones are really cheap but super nice to fix up because parts for them are unlimited. My best friend just bought a 90 Civic hatchback with 200,000 miles for $500.

^ Go honda for cars and toyota for trucks is what I do. Honda cars run well into the 200k miles and still with original parts. My gf sold her 89 civic with 210,000 for 500 bucks, we had it for 3 years and never put anything but a muffler on it and we bought it for 1000, very solid cars and more importantly engines.

If youre lookin to tune it, go volkswagen. An old gti will eat rice for breakfast and they are absolute tanks. The 1st gen. (mk 1) rabbit is rediculously light and the engine swaps are endless. Ive seen a 911 twin turbo go down to a 70-somthing rabbit with a VR6 engine from a newer vw. My vote is a Vee Dub.

holy shit, you have a video of that? im guessing were not talking about a drag race, because 911 turbos run a 3.7 sec 0-60. and you should look into a subi. a bit more pricey for similar miles, but ive put 25000 miles on my outback legacy, absoluetly no problems, and ive made it to the mountain with an inch of ice on the road....

WE used to tell all these girls that. That, and that their canooder valve malfunctioned. They would be so worried.

yea, you would just love the wiring in veedubs. volkswagens can be tuner cars but they can be difficult. the ultimate tuner car is civic, not the new ones though. the new ones are chick cars.

florida has ALOT of rx7's you just need to know where to look.

here's my best friend's new civic. same motor, same everything except for the exhaust. the only bummer was...no carpeting and original front seats (original back though).

i dont think the car in the picture is the car that is for sale. becuase it says its a 5 speed manual, and if u look at the gear box, its automatic....

Well since the dude selling it can't even spell the name of the car correctly in his add, i wouldn't really trust him treating the car well.

no its a manual i went to look at it yesterday.. idk maybe thats the camera angle because i thought that to but it isnt... i talked to the guy selling it and no offense girls he said the wifey made the page and thats why she spelled it wrong and probably took pictures from a different car... and an auto,,, lol blondes.. but its a clean car mostly highway miles.. but i dont think im getting it anymore im getting an s2000

hundai rnt tha great especially depending on where you live in mtns or need to drive in snow i wouldnt trust one look at toyotas for durability or subarus in my opinion r pretty good maintenance and decent gas mileage plus pretty good durability and do well when conditions suck from all wheel drive so jea

what a freakin idiot. so is it the same car, but manual? anyway, you're going honda! i'm so proud. looks like some ricers knocked some sense into you.

wait....your a kid, probably still in high school, don't kow anything about cars, and your getting an s2000? Your an idiot.

ya if your young you probably shouldn't start with the s200, preludes are sweet and pretty fast and front wheel drive which is at least manageable in winter.

RWD is fine in winter if you know how the hell to drive, FWD is better for people that don't know how to drive on slick roads...but AWD is just the best there is.

Yeah...Audi is great if you want to have your car to be down alot and pay ridiculous amounts of money for shop time.
