If you hit your head...

not nesescarily. there are multiple impact helmsets and single impact helmets. basically, if your outer casing is soft(like a bike helmet), its a one impact. but if your casing is hard (like a skate helmet) then its multiple impact

no.
helmets work by the foam crushing to decelerate your head thus lessening the impact.
so, did you hit your head hard?

if the liner comes out and exposes the foam check the foam for any indentations or areas with anything non uniform to the rest of the helmet.........

but i would say you might need a new brain bucket

actually, he was right. many of the park style helmets are made with multiple impact dense memory foam. when you hit your head the foam compresses then re-expands to its normal shape.

heres how you can check if your helmet is single or multiple impact. take a golf ball or some other small blunt object and push it into the foam in your helmet hard enough to dent the foam. if the foam expands back and the dent disappeares in a few minutes than you have a multiple impact helmet,

if the foam in your helmet is significantly dented or cracked its time to go get a new multiple impact helmet.

hope that helped

depends on how hard the impact was to be honest

like if you fell off a like 2 foot rail, then i'd say no

but if you slammed off a like 60 foot jump, i'd say replace it

neither of those... apparently, i was hauling tits switch and i caught an edge, or hit a bump (i've heard two stories) and it resulted in several somersults/cartwheels, i was knocked unconcious and got a free ride to the hospital...

oh and my helmet doesnt have stuff i can take out so.....

If it was bad enough to send you to the hospital, then DEFINITELY get a new helmet. Even if it's multi impact, get a new helmet. Multi impact helmets are made to absorb lots of little hits. Your helmets safety is compromised, so get a new one.
