I have yet to see Twilight, but I don't understand why there is so much hate. It seems to be an alright movie/ book series. I don't think it's the movie itself that people hate, as much as it's the actor, or the hype that is spread throughout girls/ women of all ages.
 
holy jesus new moon sucked, i think its the end of the franchise, look at the imdb reviews. im not sure so much that the actors suck, but more the fact that the books characters are actually just that shitty. the movies are exactly like the books, full of 1 liners that in real life sound absolutely ludicrous.
 
this movie/book series/gayest thing ever falls under the southpark theory of marketing. "twilight makes little girls ginies tingle and when little girls ginies tingle i make money" now thats pimpin

i dont find twilight as a vampire movie... all the traditional vampire shit is gone, they dont feed on humans, they are "kind" (?), and worst off all they sparkels in the sun.

overall a romantic "vampire" movie for 14 year old girls.

30 days of night is a good vampire movie, also Bram Strokers Dracula!

Because it's annoying to see the same thread pop up like 4 different times. It's not too hard to searchbar and then bump a thread instead of creating a new one.
 
Well fuck, if something like that annoys you, I'm glad I don't know you in person. Who the fuck wants to spend their time searchbarring shit every time they want to post something they like. Posting a new thread is not bad, it encourages more conversation for those who havn't already seen it. And if you are one of those people who are so smug after telling someone to searchbar, then fuck you.
 
Better convos can happen if someone bumps a thread because people will be able to respond to the previous comments in the thread. I don't see why it's so difficult to click the little box on the top right corner of the page, type a thread title, and see if it's been posted before.

There have been times where there are literally 3 threads about the exact same thing on the first page of NSG, I mean, come on.

You make a good point, but at the same time what use does writing "searchbar noob, it's already been posted lyyyke 5 tymmez llollz noob" add to the new conversation? Nothing, if anything it makes people look like all they do is browse NS 24/7.
 
The first post had the link to the original thread. The only way people are going to stop making numerous threads on the same thing is if they get told not to repost.
 
But, really, c'mon, does it annoy you THAT much? It's really not even a big deal if someone posts the same thing twice. If you've seen it, then don't fuckin keep reading, easy as that.
 
It doesn't annoy me that much, but it does annoy me a little. Plus, it keeps things less cluttered and peoples thoughts contained.
 
If only this was true. however movies like twilight and bands like the jonas brothers and justin beiber exist for one reason. because they make a shit load of money of tweens. As shitty as twilight was, it made moer on it's opening weekend than The Dark Knight, it's tragic.
 
they are exploiting it too. somewhere it said they are making either the next book or the last one into two parts even though the books are the same length. two parts = double the money. zingggg
 
just thought id share the good news... the IMDB rating for new moon is 4.8, which is really really low. i have never seen a movie that low, even deathrace is 6.7
