kicking horse...when it has the snow (which has been both times i have gone) is just rediculous.

if they inbounds has no snow...hike a bowl over and you can ski untracked and still get back to the lift

Definatly not a resort. Id pick a range where I could do backcountry skiing. Like the Chugiak Range, easy access close location.

I've never been to Whistler but from what I've heard about it, sounds awesome. Either there or Vail. Vail's bowls are sick!
