heY im heading up there to party this weekend but i lost my wallet and only have a tempory paper id will i dbe able to get into clubs with it?
 
really depends what places you go to and how old you look. but if ur paper ID is legit it shouldnt be a problem.
 
yo i barely even used my id when i went there when i was 18....and I didn't look old...

go to st catherine st and st lawrant and there are plent of bars/clubs that you can get into no problem...bigger clubs like the dome and club supersex usually id but the majority wont...its fucking canada
 
it really depends. i know tons of places you can go without an ID if you want. alot of the "nicer" places will card you, but those are usually the places with retarded prices and jappy fucks everywhere. but really, most places dont care much
 
im 17 and didnt get carded anywhere when i was there...you can get into most bars and such i believe, but i guess they card alot on whatever that tourist'ish street is with all the super nice places
 
You may it really depends on the places you go. One trip I didnt get carded ever, the next trip every place I went to carded me. Good luck.
 
Hahaha Yeah everyone knows you can pretty much get into any bars/clubs in Quebec if you look somewhat decent and old.

But now that I'm almost 25 every bars I go to is asking for my ID damnit!?
 
unless you wanna go to the well known places, peel, upper deck, and a few others make you show idea but it doesnt matter if it is yours or your grandmothers as long as it says you are 18... but starting 2006 you need a passport to get over the border
 
Monday = Cock N Bull (arts and crafts night)

Tuesday = Foufouns Electrique (5$ pithchers) or Cafe Campus for Retro Night

Wednesday = Mckibbins(20$ open bar upstairs...but they check ID) or head over to Cheers for ladies night

those are the nights that i remember off the top of my head. good places to go are

and when you're all drunk and shit, head on over to Boustan for the best Lebanese food you've ever had

St. Laurent area:

Foufouns Electrique

St Elizabeth

St Sulpice

Blue Dog(should be re opened)

Le Swimming

Jupiter Room

and if you find yourself in Old Montreal you have to check out Pub St Paul, its a friggen gorgeous place.

of these places, the only place i'v ever been carded was Foufouns, and i've been going to them since i was 16
 
Dude where were you last time I took a trip to montreal. I got stuck at Peel most of the night and it blew balls. I have yet to go to a good bar in Montreal. I have been to some shitty clubs with nice patios but no good bars. I have all but lost hope for Montreal.
 
I got faith, despite not hitting the best bars around, I did meet some awsoem fucking people there. Gave me a new found love for french women. Although I did enjoy living in Tremblant a little more, since I knew where all the good bars were and all the bouncers.
 
i'm from montreal, if one place doesn't let you in, try the next and so on. One will eventually let you in. I'm 16 and have only been asked for i.d twice ( I do like older though) . If you are 18, it should be no problem
