I'd make it so that only landowners could vote, and to own land you must have an education. Also there wouldn't be a lot of taxes. And just for kicks id make it illegal to be sober

Only attractive people allowed in, mass deportation of people deemed to be unattractive.

Any and all legal, political, personal, etc. disputes will be settled by bare-knuckle boxing matches for the men and pillowfights for the women. Any other forms of illegal retribution and/or settling of scores will result in the offending parties being roasted by the general public for 12-24 hours in a public square. I figure, we make some examples of people early on, then we won't have to use this punishment as much and the squares can be filled again with bratwurst carts and attractive people.

No guns, except ones for range and hunting, of those only the ones deemed to be badass enough would be allowed in

I'd make everyone else dress up like ewoks. I would also make ewok sports and tv shows. Everything would be ewoks. I would possibly dabble in some certain party favors and enjoy.

Also would make the land look like avatar. That shit was cool.

I honestly think there needs to be a place in the world where there are no rules. Enlightened philisophers once said that total, 100% freedom is chaos.
 
well 100% freedom would include the dissolution of the laws of nature, and you're only allowed to create your own country-- not your own species--- or wait...what are the rules?
 
The only rule is that there will be set boundaries that will not be influenced or tryed to be taken over by other countries. Of course the laws of nature apply because no one can break them (for now).

Unfortunately this is all only conjecture....if only a place like this existed. I would roll in guns drawn and go out like a sucker haha.

 
No police, it would just be an anarchy, every person is supplied with a gun, if someone fucks with you, you kill em.

When I made this I was originally thinking like a revolution happens in country x and you end up in charge. And not the boring ass peaceful revolutions, I'm talking about mass looting and rioting. You know, the fun kind of revolution?
 
What i meant being unless you magically create people to fit this Utopian role, they will be biased by class. the only way for it to work is to have people who have not been corrupted by a class system, those people don't exist.

I see you dodging my overall point by question the way i worded the question, but the point remains the same, where would you find a population that will deal with a classless system after they have been in one. The idea is in their mind and you can't get rid of it. Granted it might work at first but the idea of a class system is ingrained in their mines to a certain extent, so its a system built on flaws and lies.
 
Not that I want to sound all knowing and what not (I don't really know shit about communism besides a quick google search, history class, and animal farm) but communism seems to me like the kind of thing that looks good on paper, but once put into practice it fails. If we look at the three most prominent communist countries in history, the USSR, China, and N. Korea, communism doesn't really seem to work. The USSR ended up falling apart, a lot of N. Korea is starving and is just generally a fucked up place to live, and China is slowly moving towards a capitalist economy. To me, communism seems like it could start out well, but in the end some people just end up more equal than others. (Again im no expert, those are just my views on the topic)

I once knew this kid a few years ago that made up his own imaginary country called The Valkyries. He appointed me as Prime Minister and then stared to do these pretend colonizations of a bunch of places near town and all over the world. Then he proceeded to say the Polish and French are stupid and should die and that Germany is an awesome country. After he started trying to enslave people I started to stay the fuck away from him.
 
I do not know enough. Some things that appeal to me are pretty high taxes, free education, free healthcare, drugs legal and regulated, all renewable energy, low natural resource development, high eco-tourism, extremely in depth comprehensive study in early school on sexual health, and systems of opression.

That or a volunteer basis of contributions, finacial or otherwise to projects and personal freedom (no taxes) that extends as far as anothers personal freedom. No hiearchy, no people in positions of power (hopefully ending classism, sexism, racism to a large extent, or at least the effect of these mindsets) Probably would support less people than the other society because people wouldn't be supplied with the things they needed as much.
 
He's certainly not doing socialism and he's not even really doing Keynesianism. Also, those are two totally separate things and simply saying "socialism/Keynesianism" makes about as much sense as saying "cocaine/cookies."

id run it like the hunger games but the game is always on, no winner ever. and i watch from the top of my high skyscraper built from the sweat and lives of those unfortunate enough to have to work for 40 cents a day. and i witness true drama of families and friends watch their close ones bleed to death infront of them. and laugh as i smoke a blunt and hide my obvious conscious of right doing.

Not really a contradiction. Only a contradiction because american "libertarians" are so insane. Being a libertarian means trying to maximize liberty. Most US libertarians think the way to do this is to reduce the size of the government to practically zero, but there are actually strong arguments that there are more effective ways to do this.

Even FA Hayek wrote in The Road to Serfdom:





"Nor is there any reason why the state should not assist the individuals in providing for those common hazards of life against which, because of their uncertainty, few individuals can make adequate provision. Where, as in the case of sickness and accident, neither the desire to avoid such calamities nor the efforts to overcome their consequences are as a rule weakened by the provision of assistance - where, in short, we deal with genuinely insurable risks - the case for the state's helping to organize a comprehensive system of social insurance is very strong... i dont like this argument.

when youre honest about it, capitalism doesnt work as well. we have had dozens of crisises (most notably the 1929 and the 2007/8 ones) that showed straight down, that capitalism doesnt work and you need restrictions and regulations all over the place.

the reason why capitalism doesnt get overthrown like communism is because owners of all sort of things (land, factories, money,...) are powerful, capitalism is entrenched in our western culture and thats probably it and there is no other system you could run to that would solve everything.

but to say that capitalism is the worlds savior and a good model is horseshit, because it is probably responsible for more misery than communism ever will be.

and i am not a native speaker as you probably already recognized, and i use "communism" as synonym for centrally planned economy and as an opposite of "capitalism", although that might not be formally correct.
