I got biking at Bear for one weekend a summer, I wish I could get more into it but they're so expensive and I don't really know anyone else that does it.

gah, my picture upload thing isn't working now.

Anyways, I have a 2009 Giant Glory DH on the way. I race so, its a handy dh bike.

Comes mid this month.

I'll post pics later if it works.

ya bikes are super expensive, especially compared to skis. where you can pick up a good pair or skis and binders for around $300 to $400 if you know where to look, a decent bike will set you back $1,000 - $2,000 and up.....

2004 banshee scirocco

this will be my long travel hard tail that i will be competing in my local down hill and dual slalom series this summer. should be a baller bike once its build. living in minnesota i cant justify building a fs based on how short our courses are. long travel hard tail should be sick though. and the banshee's are known for their incredible stiffness. any way heres what i got

-130mm marcocchi dj1 20mm through axle

-20mm marzocchi through axel hub laced to dtswiss hoop

- 1x9 gearing wih x9 rear der

-and i ran out of money for more parts.

i dont have a pic of it but its a custom built 07 p.1

mavic 325 front wheel on k-rad

mtx back wheel on k-rad

2006 dj2 fork

hussefelt crank

animal hamilton pedals

bb7 brakes

hussefelt stem

azonic strip bars

ugp smatter seat

its definitely a fun ride, i need to get new rubber and a back hub though

my friend had one until it got stolen, i could hop wicked high on that thing.

i have a rocky mountain flow 2.0 (04/05 (best year)), used to have a switch 2.0 for dh racing, but i sold it.

i have a specialized p2 cromo. all stock, but have maxxis highroller tires, and might make it a singlespeed when i get a full sus bike. thinking about either jamis parker or maybe a cannondale perp. dream bike is an SX trail though... too much money though

The forks may be old, but are less used than the bike. Just didnt like not haveing anything to adjust on the stock jr. t's.

Love this bike. bombs shit and i can whip 'er around...

and FRODO. we must bike this summer son

i dont pics but trek frame, roxshox, foxfloat, hydrolic disk brakes, super light rims, crowback handle bar

guy who i bought it from got it for 2000i got it for 450 jeeeeea his wife really liked me hahaha.

i rock the SS too, i have a kona unit with a psylo and avid bb5's, not a great bike but it's nice for getting super fit

Random question... but this thread attracts the type of people that would know the answer.

How much would a barely used treck jack 2 go for? I believe its an 06 or 07

I have found one for veryyyy cheap and was wondering how much of a deal I would actually be getting

There are better hardtails out there for the money...

But for this particular bike a good price would be:

New: $500 or less

Used: $300 or less depending on condition

1988 haro master

brakes still need to be put on, but riding around town and the city is too much fun without them.
