all of those soldiers will either commit suicide or refuse to go. after they are going on their third and fourth tours of iraq, they aren't going to go fight anymore. they've lost their families and jobs because of all this stupid shit. Bush might try, but people will rise up.

I'm not even going to go into all the ridiculous bias in there. I just want to point out that it's funny you brought up Murphy's law. You obviously have no idea what it is, but it actually explains a lot of this administration. Murphy's law basically states that whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. It pretty much sums up the past seven years in our country.

Second, Why do you think that just because a bunch of foriengers(sp?) have illegaly immigrated to your country, that they automatically are all murderers? Yeah, I'm sure a few of 'em are, but 99% of them are just trying to make a better life for themselves and earn a little $$$.

Finnaly, not all of your country's hardships are going on in Florida, and why would I move there? The skiing is nonexistent.

Sounds like you one of those people who have taken one politics class in either high school or college and think you know everything. But instead you have no idea what your talking about. You attempted to back up that Iran was a threat by using illegal immigration. In doing so you also made some fairly racist comments. "Most illegal immigrants are murderers" haha most illegal immigrants are some of the hardest working people i know and i'm sure they make up a very minuet percentage of murderers. Not to mention they do all the jobs for less money than any US citizen would want to do. Therefore they are an important part of our economy, as they fill all the jobs on the bottom for much less money.

I also find it very entertaining how you called liberals think headed and unimaginative. Liberal ideology is far more progressive than that of conservatives. (im a moderate so don't go pulling that shit on me im just telling it how it is) You can't spread peace with war just doesn't work out to well.

I also like how you think Bush does whats best for the country. Have you ever thought that maybe he has his own agenda? As much as i dislike him hes not that stupid and he knows that this isn't the best for the country its probably whats best for his oil company and major companies which support him and his advisor's Ie: haliburton.

Now back on more of the actual subject that you got off in your sorry excuse for a rant. Iran isn't that dangerous to us right now they won't have nuclear arms capabilities for years. We have no reason to invade them we will just look stupid and we will just create more instability in the middle east.
 
Dude I really don't agree with this Mountaingirl, but you're kind of proving her point. If it is true that 12 murders per day are committed by illegal aliens, that is a lot. Considering there are only about 12 million illegals in the US and about 300 million total people in the US, the proportion of murder by illegal immigrants is ridiculously high.

This is assuming your facts are correct
 
well I have no idea about the population of the US or the number of immigrants, but going down that line looking more indepth at who the groups comitting murders are, im sure it is a small minority of the 300 million citizens who are murderers. like i dunno gangs could be responsible for a large proportion of those murders, but gang memberships probably dont equal 12 million (feel free to prove me wrong here, i've got no idea). so actual ratios would be an interesting figure to see, ie 12 million illegals/12 murders per day, gang memberships/gang murders per day, and so on for other groups

those figures are fairly legit I think.. hence the references

either way a murder rate of 40 something per day is very high (coming from a country where a murder still makes national news)
 
yep and the only threat from Iran is they want to take over Iraq.... and ya know in 15 years when they have nuclear arms they will be even less of a problem.
 
I would like to express a few points about this thread:

First of all, lets just drop the politics-miliraty bullshit, okay? Everyone has their own view, and an argument won't change anything.

Secondly, I've had enough with the "Fight for Democracy" in the Middle East with Canada and the Unites States. There has been civil, political, and religious unrest in that area of the world for thousands of years, and a few military opperations arent going to change their way of life. Lets all face it, the Middle East if a lost cause. There is a HUGE diversity of religion in that area, and not enough landmass to disperse it peacefully.

Thirdly, I hate the way people make these threads. Your first sentence reads, "if we dont attack Iran by early october i will close this account". Why do you say, "we". It doesnt appear you are in the military, so dont associate yourself with them on a personal basis, because you arent. How about, "if the United States Army
