Yeah, he might be in stable condition, but he also had a heart attack and is 78, what will happen if he dies?
 
I'm sure Cheney will just get a slap on the wrist and have to write an appology letter to the family. Not much more will happen. *shrug*
 
I think he was shitfaced when he did it, because he 'Had a beer at lunch'(he probally had more) or just a stupid mother fucker because when you pull the trigger you should look down the barrel.

if the guy dies after 2008 I doubt it will be considered manslaughter

and if he does die before 2008 then I guess this is one of those cases where being the pupetmaster behind the only guy in the united states who can pardon you for any crime comes in handy
 
the only way Chenney would go to jail right now is if he went and killed the president then bombed a school while rapping half a douzen newborns.

he'll get manslaughter, and will resign from office, but i doubt that he'll go to prison because bush might pardon him. His political career is over though. Bush will appoint someone who can win the 2008 election because cheney certainly can't win it.
 
The Republican Party will most likely appoint Cheney as the front runner in 2008 because he is the vice president at the end of bushes second term.

umm no. Cheney will not be the Rep. candidate in 2008. He scares the populace far too much. Look for the republicans to choose a more moderate candidate because they are going to need all the help they can get with the voting masses.
 
Nothing will happen to Cheney except maybe a slap on the wrist. He would first have to be impeached which requires 2/3 of the house to vote for it, and then charges can be pressed against him, which won't happen because he is close friends with the victim.Even if he is impeached and charged, Bush will pardon him. I think that this topic should die down soon unless the victims dies.It was an accident, nothing more.
 
Of course not. Hes Dick Cheney. Maybe make him get some facial reconstructive surgery to make him less painful to look at.
