If snowboarders were on NS

I wonder what NS would be like if there were tons of snowboarders on here too. I know there already are snowboarders on here but there aren't that much.
 
See the thing is, that many of the snowboarders that are on here and know about it, is from their skiing friends. So I think that there would never be a time where SNOWBOARDERS would take over
 
I have at least 4-5 snowboarder friends that use NS. I always find it funny but cool at the same time.
 
there wouldn't but much of a difference, more input in skiers vs snowboarders thread, more snowboard videos, more pics, more reviews and sell threads. its all common sence
 
i would get really bored on a snowboarding forum. but if the boarders on NS just use NS for the social aspect, i guess it must be at least somewhat interesting to them.
 
im glad this is a SKIING site. if we catered to snowboarders more i wouldnt like it as much. i dont mind snowboarders on here but i wouldnt like SG being full of which board should i get threads
 
the occasional snowboarder is good in my opinion but it would suck if there was tonnes of them. there would start to be more snowboard vids in the forum and more snowboards in the ski equipment threads.
 
then i guess they would have to change the slogan. it would no longer be "skiings online community"
 
It will always be "Freeskiing's Online Community" or a mutiny is going to take place. I'm fine with loads of boarders as long as they blend in and don't try to turn this into their site.
 
I have a lot of snowboard buddies who use NS. It's awesome. They are extremely on top of their freeskiing facts. Sometimes more than I am, it's scary.

 
This site has opened my eyes up to skiing so much it's not even funny. First off, I never realized that the freestyle skiing community was so huge. I've been a snowboarder for 10 years - and with my small EC mountain, I haven't seen much freestyle skiing.

I really am amazed at the talent I see on this site. I love watching the videos, and seeing the pictures. Everyone here is so dedicated to this sport, and I love to see that. I think it would be a terrible thing for this site to actually cater to snowboarders. Which I know it never will.

I am truly impressed, and I have a new found respect for skiing.
 
i think its cool snowboarders are using newschoolers as a resource site and all that shit. i have a couple of snowboard friends that come on here all the time, they think its sick
 
doesnt matter if its on snow, hes still on skis and jibbing a box. its not like it would be harder on snow, it would probably be easier.
