Titles says it all.
just wanna know what you guys think. Team USA would be so stackedd!!watchout.
possible countries: USA Canada France Sweden Norway Finland Germany Switzerland Japan etc,

No one cuz they all smoke pot and would never pass a drug test...........but seriously, Tom Wallisch.

Well Australia already has a world champion at this...Anna Segal. She would be there without a doubt. For the guys you'd have to guess Russ Henshaw. Dhanu Sherpa and Charlie Timmins would probably also be up there.
As for USA....Tom Wallisch is an obvious choice. I'd also argue Gus Kenworthy. He might also be representing in pipe but he's clearly good enough at both. There's no reason you cant compete in two sports and because he's young they have a lot of time to work with him before the Sochi games in 2014. Alex Schlopy is pretty much in the same boat.

Look who did world championships this past february, add Bobby to that list, and you've pretty much got it nailed if the olympics were tomorrow. A lot can and will change between now and then though

exactly.

quotas (aka the # of skiers per country) are determined by the FIS events such as World Champs... You can expect the U.S. to have the max # of participants as well as countries like Canada, Sweden, Norway...

As for the drug test issue, I'm pretty sure that every skier considering an olympic bid will sober up for it...its really a non-issue, hell I bet if they made the team the coaches would personally buy them a cleansing system to get the shit out of them before they went to Sochi

The US team is pretty wide open IMO for slope. Its two years away so think about the possibility for injury in that time, plus look how fast TYW came up, went from Gatorade tour to x-games silver in a year, so who knows who will step up.

Out of the current field of riders I'd say the team (4 riders) would be Bobby, Twall, Scholpy, and Sammy/Kenworthy (whoever doesn't get it will be the alternate)

I also think Willie Borm will be a force reckoned with. That kid has one of the best dub 12's in the game at 14. He also has this drive that reminds me of Thall, he doesn't settle for anything less than his best.

Haha, that's about right! My predictions. How many do they take anyway?

USA Men Wallisch,Brown,Sammy, Schlopy, Kenworthy,Joss Christenson

USA Women, Keri Herman,Ashley Battersby,D Logan

CAN Men JF Houle, Casabon, C Gagnier,Alexi Godbout

CAN Women Kaya Turski, Megan Gunning, Maude Raymond

Sweden Henrik,Wester,

Norway Andreas Hatviet, Aleksander Aurdal

Down Under Russ Henshaw, Jossi Wells, Byron Wells

GBR Woods

Switzerland Elias Ambuhl

Solid list, Not sure i would include JF or Casabon though.

No hate towards Casabon but i can't see him winning with creativity.

I would substitute with TJ and Justin Dorey

Hate to break it to you....Australia and New Zealand are two different countries. They just called it Team Down Under for the JOSS edits...

haha oh my.

For Aus as you already said Anna Segal possibly Nat Segal for girls.

Mens: Russ Henshaw, Dhanu Sherpa, Charlie TImmins possibly Conrad Lucas or one of the younger boys will get up there too.

one of the reasons i find slope style so entertaining is that every course is different.

I think halfpipe fits in the olympics because they generally have a standardized shape, but slopestyle does not belong in the olympics.

It would limit creativity and i very much doubt the skiers who are pushing the sport would compete (drug testing).

Why would you not put JF in the team?He won the last Euro Xgames Gold, won a Dew Tour stop, won a US open, WSI and more...

I dont get why people make big deal about drug testing. Its the Olympics, anybody that cant go a few weeks with out getting high for an opportunity to compete in these games is out of their mind. Even the most pot headiest skiers should be willing to do that

I don't know which country the the guys

are from, but they're SIIIICK:

- Jesper Tjader

- Thomas Dolplads

- Aleksander Aurdal

- Anders Backe

- Fridtjof Fredidricsson

- Ole Mustad

Sickest Scandinavian skiers...

those are the names that would go right now..but it's like 3 years to go..so a lot will change...look which names dominated 3 years ago...and for NORWAY, they will have a lot more than just hatveit and aurdal..look how many young unknown kids they have who can throw unnatty dubs! insane!

Yea, I agree with you. But it seems they name the teams early, like the Halfpipe team has already been officially been named. But yea, kids like Nick Goepper is a name that comes to mind for USA, as well as many others. Lots of young blood out there moving up fast!
