If i add my bank account to my paypal, can i continue to use my credit card to pay for things?

ok, so a long while ago i created a paypal account and added a credit card. been using the account no problem, and have been receiving bills on my credit card for my purchases using paypal. So my question is, if i add my bank account, when i pay for things will it continue to take money from my card, or take money out of my account to pay for things?

YOu are able to choose from where the money comes from. It can either come right out of your account, or go on the CC like before.
 
will it ask me right before i purchase something, or will i need to adjust it in preferences?
 
you can set a default, like it defaults to using the card, but when you get to checkout it will ask you if you want to use the card, or switch to bank account mode.
