if burton started to produce twin tips, would you buy them?

what if they sponsored guys like pollard, schiller, belanger, gagnier, dash, and some other top pro's? (its not like they couldnt afford them)

yes i would burton is sick, like some burton dominant skis or something......i see it being a possibilty, theyre like the salomon of snowboarding and salomon makes snowboards

burton will never make twintips.

not cause they dont want to, but they know that 90% of their sales go to snowboards who are "hardcore" that would never buy another product if burton switched to the darkside.

Those boards are the biggest pieces of ass. For sure their quality will increase since they are now owned by Burton, but right now Forum and Jeenyus boards are all hype, but I guess thats what they want.

 
I think Burton Rodin could afford them, And if they manufactured them with pro's infut they would probebly be an amazing ski!

bullshit. burton is not hardcore at all within the snowboard industry. companies like rome are way more true to the sport than burton. besides, burton subsidiaries anon and r.e.d. already have made the movie to support freeskiing. im sure ronin and analog won't be far behind.

It is certainlly a possibility but I believe at one point they were the ones advertising in powder that their boards would equal the death of skiing so I could see some image issues

They already have. They made a ski for a tradeshow once, to try and prove a point. The point? That if it's completely stupid for Burton to make a ski because they're a snowboard company(and at the time, it was, and it might still be), then it was at the time completely stupid for a ski company to make snowboards.

Bahahaha... or, you could call it the 'elitist snob' cult. Anyways, my family already owns a country club, so no thanks.

How about instead of wanting faggy snowboard companies to make skis, we support our new ski companies like Ninthward and Liberty, and those other ones.

i just switched from snowboarding to skiing and i never really liked burton snowboards. there otherstuff was good but i was not a fan of their boards, i dont think if they made skis it would be to good. but to the kid way up who said forums were just hype, that is bull shit i road forum boards for 7 years and i like them better than any other board i tried. and snowboarding and snowboard componies are not "faggy" as someone said befor, just different!

but that will never happen just like I will never ride a snowboard because I love skiing way too much.

That's odd that you would like a Forum snowboard more then a Burton snowboard. Forum dose not even manufacturer there own snowboards, they use old technology handed down. What boards have you tryed from Burton?

 
Burton was the started the snowboarding explotion, it was made so ppl didnt have to ski, they would never make a ski..

But the other way u can look at it is if freeskiing takes off ridiculously like snowboarding, then $money$ is always a factor, n usually the deciding 1

 
if burton made skis, i would probably bend down and run into a wall at full speed... but that's just me.
