Theyd win every newschool-freestyle comp. Just watchin some mogul comp footage. Dspin 9 is a hard ass trick as it is. They ski bumps, do a d 9, and then land and do more bumps, and do another huge trick. Luckily they wont slide rails, cuz then wed be outta luck.

are they gonna do the bumps switch after the D 9? dont think so. and most pros can do d's and most pros are really good in the bumps so basically the skiers in the bumps can jib.

Yeah, tanner and boyd both did... a lot did, no doubt. Just sayin if pro bump skiers gave up the bump gig and came to 'our scene', theyd definitely give us a big time run for our money.

the whole canadian air force were bump skiiers, a good deal of pros have had either a mogul or a racing technical backround, it makes you a better skiier

I don't understand the point of this thread. Tanner Hall, Shane McConkey and plenty of other top 'newschoolers' as you put it, all competed in bumps before quitting for various reasons mostly the ridgity of the judging. So your point doesn't make sense because people have already have switched over and are already dominating the comps and have been forever. Freeskiing in general was started by mogul skiiers and racers that got bored with the governing bodies and broke away to do their own shit.

 
Dumont and Schiller looked like they had skied moguls once or twice during the Bumps n Jumps comp.

Yeah twintipwonder or whatever your name is that started this thread, your point is pretty pointless. Bump skiers have been crossing over for years so its nothing new man. And a d9? How are they landing switch in bumps? Youre whole thread is pretty worthless. I wouldnt even bother to reply but I have already typed this much so I might as well hit reply.

Yes thanks captain obvious, I have never seen a bump come and dont realize that they have about a ten foot landing zone before they go into more bumps. I realize they dont land IN bumps but they land right before them and have minimal time to compose themselves. The point is douchebag, that I doubt you could do a d9 and revert fast enough where you dont eat shit. But thanks for point out the obvious tool.

 
I saw some comp on the outdoor chanel like three months ago and at the beginning of the moguls there was a flat rail and in the moguls was a kicker and after the moguls there was a fifty foot table then a qaurterpipe. It was sick i dont remember what it was called.

yah that plus a d-9 isnt gonna qualify you for any major comp, u gotta have a lot more down then that, plus as sick as there skiing skills are it doesnt matter cause no judges care about how you look skiing into a jump

If anybody saw the Bumps 'N Jumps comp about a month and a half ago, you know that most pros RIP down mogul lines. Dumont shredded the bump lines....

ummm, you don't ski moguls switch. Mogul skiers don't do 9's. Also, almost all pro skiers are good at moguls, many of them growing up with moguls as their main skiing priority. Like T-Hall. T-Hall can do rails. This is a retarded question.
