If Anyone Is Bored (Graphic Design)

I recently lost my copy of my CS5 suite (long story)and don't have anyway to do any graphic design or deep photo editing, or else I would do this myself.

For my photography I usually use Lightroom anyway, but that's not going to help me in this situation. I was looking for some way to make a kind of creative watermark/logo for my photography stuff. I usually just use my name (Ian Araujo) and throw it in a corner of my photos just in case, not that anyone would want to steal my photos anyway.

I just got an idea though and wondered how it would turn out and if anyone would be kind enough to help me out. I would definitely offer some money up for someone who helps but I really don't have any money to give. That's why I just titled this "If anyone is bored" because I really don't have a way to pay for someone to help me out.

For those of you who are bored and could take a little time to do this I would greatly appreciate it. Like I said at the beginning, I would do it myself but I no longer have the programs to do it.

Alright so my idea would be to have a watermark or logo that would be pretty small and would just fit into the corner of my photo. I wanted to use the silhouette of a chairlift with my name (IAN ARAUJO) incorporated into it somehow. I would really want this to be out of the way and not too distracting so I was thinking if it was done right so that the cables of the chairlift/tram/gondola just ran diagonal across the corner with my name in it somehow it wouldn't be ugly or anything.

I do have microsoft paint so I'll try to draw up my idea...

Sorry for the terrible drawing, I hope it explains it a little better though. I would probably make the watermark even smaller than that in scale to the whole picture to make it not as distracting. I just wanted to show how I was envisioning this to turn out.

If you think it's a terrible idea to have something like that as a watermark, feel free to say so, but if you could explain why with your post I'd much rather that.

Just something like those with my name would be awesome to throw across the corner of my picture. Sorry I can't really offer anything to anyone that helps. If you have any questions about what I'm asking or if you want me to find some pictures or something for you to use let me know. Alright I don't mean to bump this when it doesn't need it. I guess most people aren't very bored. If someone is though, my ideas have changed! If someone could turn basically this:

Into a logo that would be awesome. I hope you understand what it is, it's a tram with a lens looking thing on the front, with the word film tram in it. If the word film tram was in white and the whole tram and lens part were black, that would be even better.

I've been thinking about this all day and this is what it turned into. Haha.

I know no one will really want to do this, especially because it's graphic design work and people charge a lot for graphic design work. Like I said if anyone just has the extra time to do it or even help out at all, it would really be appreciated.

i would have loved to help you do this, but i am having huge problems in the pursuit to get illustrator/photoshop onto my computer... If you have any tips on where to download adobe photoshop/illustrator, I could ultimately help you one day!

Thank you for wanting to help! What I would do to get Photoshop/Illustrator would just be a torrent download.

I would do it too except about a month ago my little bro was an idiot and torrented a bunch of video games at once so now our cable provider is "watching" our IP address, basically. So I haven't been downloading anything lately, just in case, because like I said, I would do this myself if I could. Thanks again for wanting to help though!

For anyone that wants to read this:

I ended up downloading the trial version of Adobe Illustrator and worked a little bit and made this logo myself. I should've done that before I made the thread but I wasn't thinking and forgot about the trial version that I could use for now.

I definitely like it enough to use it as my logo. Also I just did black and white for now but I could update it later and possibly do a color version or a more 3 dimensional version. For now, this is all I know how to do though.

I'm just posting it to see if anyone would like to tell me whether this could work as my logo type thing, or if it won't work. If you think it's bad and won't work, could you just explain why so it's more helpful?
