Idiots smoke cigs

I believe that most people that smoke cigarettes are well aware of the side affects it has and chose to ignore them because of addiction or simply not caring. I don't think smokers should be patronized, it's their choice and they live with it.
 
What's the point of smoking? Why would you continue to do something that has a 40% chance of giving you cancer? And you say you are going to quit.. good luck bc only 5% of smokers who quit actually end up not smoking again.
 
although I agree with you, you cant deny that smoking weed doesnt effect your health. You are still inhaling plant matter into your lungs.
 
I don't smoke either one. The studies I've seen are mixed about how bad pot is for you, but most seem to suggest that it's not as bad for you as cigarettes, especially since most pot smokers don't smoke in as high volume as many cigarette smokers.
 
i'm not sure about canada but the whole cost to the health sector argument is void in the UK. the money cigarette sales bring in to the government through tax outweighs the cost to the NHS by quite a bit.

i've given up now but i used to smoke, i enjoyed it, i never really found them to be addicting and didn't find it hard to stop at all. i just realised it was having an effect on my sports so quit.

i don't think its idiotic at all, just as drinking or getting high aren't idiotic

 
I've seen mixed evidence on that. It definitely contains some carcinogens, but there has been no study to show a link between marijuana smoking and lung cancer once cigarette smoking is factored in (marijuana smokers are 5x more likely to smoke cigarettes than non smokers).

When slightly older kids do it and think they are better than young kids that do it, that's when it bothers me.
 
People who smoke cigarettes to be cool are stupid. I have smoked cigarettes and tabaco and i don't find it too pleasing. Especially the idea of being addicted to that stuff seems awful. However i like to smoke blunts and spliffs, and the occasional shisha.
 
And without tobacco we might not have had African slaves and then our black friends might not be here and tupac and biggie an wu tang might not have happened so....
 
I once inhaled tobacco, and thereafter i have become a huge idiot. One puff is all it taeks guise.
