a6t the tips make clouds then as you go down fade into mountains, then like foothills for mountain biking and skating, then down to the coast for surfing with fish and ocean on the back tips and you could put elevation markers all the way down them
my current idea is like a topographic map up top fading into an old explorer map fading into like a road map maybe, with tracks of some sort going through all of it. its not final at all but just throwing it out there
damn that would be sick, i was trying to think of a way to make it work and every way i thought of seemed like it wouldnt fit in. but that would be steezy
take the map of your favourite mountain or something and if you could put it onto the ski it would look sorta dope, or like a rocky top the slowly the trees become more and more dense as you get lower on the ski
this is what i did when i made my pair of skis, wasnt that big of a design, i just drew a whale from haida and cut it out and put it in during the press process. turned out pretty cool.
Would be sick if you did these designs on the ski.. made it look as if the ski was just an old class notebook, even with all the lines on the paper and holes and stuff
damn dude those are so sick, i wish i was good at sketching stuff, but there like a bunch of maps blended together, its hard to explain but ill try to post it on the morrow
For mine its an arctic scene with a walrus wearing a top hat and monacle chillin and a polar bear looking over the edge of the ice at a fish jumping out of the water, and then out of the depths a killer whale is coming up for the fish and on the noses it says 'lets party'
Still need an idea for the tails though kinda want to keep the theme goin
the size might be messed up on the first. if you cant tell its:topogaphical mapold-style explorer mapsubway map(thatnk b-runge)road map of the anchorage area
another Idea that pooped into my mind was goin with that earlier post and incorporating haida art. it's been done before ( on heads?) but it looks fresh.
