Alright boys & girls, here's what's up.

If you had $30 000 to open up a company, what would you do?

I already own a;

-Ford F-350, With a spaceKap

-30' long Enclosed trailer

So something mobile perhaps?

Wurd, post your ideas, first person that turns me into a chamillionaire wins!

go to a popular ski resort, and set up a hotdog stand out of the trailor. make some cool signature dog tho.

Bussiness.

This company is something to play with. Hire a couple of Espagnols and get them to be good at something.

But if somebody comes up with a stellar idea that makes tons of money... well... I'll fucking finance the PPP lair. Oh Jea, I said it.

Too seasonal and I'd get kicked off of the ski hills property sooo fast.... sooooooo fast.

This company has to be semi legit... how's the weed industry these days?

online gaming servers. make that. my friend did it, he made bank. just buy some crazy comps, get a t1-3 internet, make some servers and charge the people. everyone wants a server these days due to gaming leagues and shit.

That is definetly a SOLID investment...so fuck that.

I want to risk my money here, all or nothing.

I should open a bunch of sites, "www.nueschoolers.com, newscholers.com, newschooler.com, newschoollers.com". For the illeterate fokers.

Give me your feedback on this one;

Amongst other random things, I have in my possession;

-Two large beer tents (20'x40')

-Two Tee-pee's (20' diameter)

Now, I love throwing parties. To me, there's nothing like watching a crowd have an amazing time...drunk girls are shibby as well but that's another story.

Now, my idea is to use my Beer tents and rent them out to people that want to have a killer party, without strangers going into your house causing "Shittt, someone took my porno collection man!" the morning after.

So basically, it would be a killer party (Dj,speakers, lights, shelter, everything included) for a charge of approximatly 400$.

Now honestly, would you rent something like that for 400$? That is a dirt cheap price for what you're getting but it is a sizeable investment for the group age I will be targeting.

Thnx to [wh@], who somehow made me think up this one.

ya that seems like a pretty good idea. Depending on what country/state you live in, it could be a problem getting a license for that. Unless your not gonna worry about all the legal shit, then just go for it

That' be sweet. I was thinking about that cause we are building a new hous so my dad bought a moving truck to keep all are furniture safe. Hes never going to use it after this. I was inspired by jackass (the disco truck). I would add a dj booth (i already got a basic one from a mall, nothing to fancy just a couple of speekers, an amp, multi CD player I think it can hold 50 CDs, mini disc drive and recorder, computer, etc.) , a 50 inch plazma or any other big sreen (plasma or lcd would be nice because of sise) lights, speakers, keg hookups, and other shit like that. and the like you said set up tents and stuff, all the expensive equipment would be in the truck and the rowdy partiers outside.

In your case, devide the trailer in two compartments. one for suplies and tents and chairs etc, and the other smaler one for the dj booth, speekers, tv, the bar and the keg hookups. and set up the tents. and your set. But i think i'd be chargeing a little more than 400$. A good DJ alone can be over 400$.

i have a solid idea. it's been very well thought through. like i said, i'm serious. i would sell the idea to you for a negotiated fee. like i said before, no joke. pm me.

you like music? you could build a SICK mobile dj setup with that cash.....

buy yourself serato scratch live, two pimp cd turntables (or regular turntables, doesnt really matter with the serato), a sound system, some lights, and start practicing. if you're by a college campus, do a lot of free gigs for frats and shit to get your name out there, and start making bank.

or you could buy a huge towable grille and do pig roasts for people at parties.

if you want more info on the dj thing, i could tell you almost everything you need to know. and i have plenty of contacts to help you out too.

With differences...a server can be a big black box that sits in the corner of the room...kinda a computer, but not really at the same time. And nice servers are huge $$$$ server operating software alone can cost up to $2000.

Buy a bunch of vending machines and place them throughout your town. Go back every week or so and restock the vending machines. Give a percentage of the sales back to the places where you sold the merchandise to pay for the space you are renting from them. Buy all the candy at wholesale from costco or directly from the factory (if you could get that).

all right so you say fuck me idea, nobody respects my opinion ever. However i study business/finance, I am majoring in business eco next year, and your idea is to have aparty tent? Mine was a solid investment that is pretty much guarenteed money back, we're all young so why spend that 30gs now? How do you think these rich ass dudes get there money, bill gates is worth 40bill he has a hold on microsoft stocks, or wait should he start up such a childish dream of having a beer tent? because that wont get old when you start a family and your kids grow up to know their father is a drunken redneck who rents a party tent to college kids.

That would be sweet, invest in a welder and other equipment and build really nice jibs and stuff. Use your trailer to take them around and sell them to the resorts.

Well if i had 30G to start a business...

I wouldnt come to newschoolers asking

Why would you not want a safe investment with an almost guranteed chance of return.

I already have money brewing in the bank, fucker.

This idea is merely a test run, for a much, much bigger contract.

Now, do you have a real idea or are you just going to tell me something I already know?

Skiiers are people too though...no?

All the ideas that have been thrown down so far are decent but the margins are just too tight when you're only starting out with 30k (I.E; severs, vending machines, jib set up(too much travelling and it's hard making a solid jib for cheap!)...).

people yes...But educated enough to think of actual business ideas which would work in the long run? The majority of people on here are like 16 and havent gone to college yet. Not saying newschoolers is uneducated, but its a young crowd. Thats all I'm saying.

sounds like some idea you cooked up in middle school. and once your over 21, i don't think people are robbing shit anymore at corny house parties.

Agreed, that's why I havn't done it yet. Market is too narrow and 16 year olds don't usually have 400$ laying around.

I hope this is for a school project or something cause if you're truely wanting to start a business, i'd suggest using your own idea's, cause if you use someones idea without paying them and make it big, they can sue you for stealing it... but thats not really what i'd worry about, i'd worry about weither or not you can keep you business up, cause creating a business isnt all cupcakes and sunshine... its alot of work, you have to keep track of shit and keep your ideas freash, if you keep the same thing for more than a couple months you're going to lose some interest in the customers... if you change it up once and a while people will keep their interest you'll have them hooked to come back and see whats new... and i'm not being an asshole, i'm just letting you in on the harsh realities.

This is not a school project, this is reality.

I would manage it part-time, my father would help the rest of the time and would steer me in the right direction and help keep the bussiness runing.

Option 1, easy to start you're self,

Depends on where you live but you could definatley start a landscaping comp. It is seasonal but in the winter you could have a plow for the front of your truck and plow peeps driveways and store parking lots and shit plus you would have time off to ski. Landscapers make a crap load of money once the buisness is off the ground. If you do decide to do landscaping try and offer two types of services. what i mean is regular landscaping chemicals and shit and an environmentaly sound landscaping. The market for "green" landscaping is growning cause more and more people hate chemicals. plus all the manual labour will get you in good shape. Most of the 30K supplies,tools,advertsing, once you get it off the ground you can just manage it and make the illegals do all the work.

Option number two a lot more work.

i know it sounds aweful but start a funeral home buisness. If you look at the age demographics most of the population is babybomers 40+ yrs old and they will all start to die off and there will not be enough funeral homes to deal with all of the dead bodies. it will take a couple of years for there to be a real need for the homes but if you start it now when it comes you wil lbe fully opened. Also if you show that the need is essential for such services in your city (as in the city will be overcrowed with dead bodies and noone to prep them) the government will put give you money to start it up. It will require more then $30k but again get the money from the gov and other investors and you could do it.
