Ideal ski width for Stevens?

Hi everyone. I'm currently looking at the Mindbender 99. I'm debating if I should be on the 99 or the 108. Especially since I will be riding at Stevens next year. Anybody have any thoughts on this. I am really looking for a daily driver that can perform well in all conditons.

I ski a 100 at Stevens, so a 99 should be fine. Anywhere from 100-110 is what I would call a "daily driver," but it really depends on which part of the mountain you want the ski to excel on. Which lifts do you lap usually?

I really don't know to be honest. I grew up skiing at Mission but really haven't been skiing in the past few years. Stevens is a new mountain for me. My first day back on snow was this past Saturday and I slayed Mission. I did a decent amount of hiking to Windy Ridge and Microwave. I also rode the Bomber chutes. Bowl 5 and backside Castle were pure crud.

Gotcha. Seems like you were in a similar position as I was at the beginning of this season. I wasn't sure what I was going to be skiing, but was deciding between 100 and 110. Went with the 100, and haven't regretted the extra bit of maneuverability it gives me, even if I sink a bit more on landings or when I ski fluffy snow.

My take is you should go with the 99, unless you think you will be going big or are super confident about next year's snowfall.

I'm never confident about snowpack from season to season.

Find some K2 Extreme 205s and mount marker dukes on then. This setup will solve all your problems

108 is twin tipped-ish, the 99 isn't. i'd personally get the 108 cause i like skiing backwards and more float for deeper days, but not everyone is comfortable on a wider ski on hard days.
