ideal rail stance

what the fuck is just the 'ideal stance' to nail rails, I know you have to focus on the end of the rail in order to slide the whole bitch but I seem to have difficulties getting onto the rail

this 'ideal stance' is different for everyone...there is no wrong way to slide a rail as long as you make it to the end...some like it penciled out, some like it hunched others grab their sack...its up to you.

for getting on, the most imortant thing to remember is to do it lightly. it is hard to do but try to not pop at all off the lip. just ride off the jump and get on the rail as kickly and smoothly as possible. this makes it was easier to slide

I had a lot of trouble sliding rails, but i finally got it. I slide with my left foot forward naturally, and all of last year i would slide off to the right side of the rail. I was really getting pissed, cause i would practice and practice, so finally at camp this summer i tried starting from the left side of the rail, and it really helped me. So if you are sliding off one side, try starting from the opposite side a little more

ideal stance is centered over the rail. Getting on the rail is easy. Just try to land on it lightly and absorb.

to get onto the rail, just go straight on, and focus on the end of the rail. feet shoulder width apart, and try to stay on the middle of your feet when your on the rail. and dont pop much at all onto the rail, just enough to get onto the rail

yeah, try to get the rail right under the arch of ur foot, that will have u balanced the most, try to think like u are snowboarding on the rail, or skateboarding on it , this is the kinda stance u want to use when first trying rails, after u get rails down try adding ur own style like bending down gorilla or just doing whatever feels natural
