IDEA

i just watched this movie and all i have to say is wow. this movie just re-iterates the fact that no poles deserves alot more respect and that Andy Mahre, Pep Fujas, and Eric Pollard rip more than ever. whether it's deep pow or park. i would like to see more work from this trio maybe a great ski movie sans Tanner Hall. any opinions on the movie?

Sweet, I'll have to check it out. I've been watching Push~Pull by Matchstick... 2 disks and tons of great footage and music.

yeah i just got it a little bit ago. it is fucking awesome. the music goes with it sooooo nicely too. the tree skiing was awesome. plus the helmet cam in the bonus features was sweeeeettttt. best movie of the year.

I dont c why their is so much love for that movie...it was deff good but i nominate it for most overrated/hyped movie of the year

hahahaha. i'm not sure if thats what he meant, but i have to agree with you. i wouldnt say that Idea was really boring, i would say that it was just kinda boring.

dont get me wrong, i understand how amazingly techy and tough the skiing in it was, but it just didnt really make for an exciting movie. it just didnt give me that "WOW" feeling that Believe and Realtime did

I have to agree, Idea was great. I really liked how it wasn't like turning the skiers into gods or showing the perfect day or anything, it was just demonstrating what it was like for these guys to go up into the mountains and ski. It made it something that everyone could relate to, and it really just reminded me of what kind of stuff happens when I go skiing with my buddies, and for that, it was amazing.

Besides, how can you not like a nice refreshing change from double backflips and switch 1080s?

loved it. For me its where I think skiing should continue to explore. A nice break from sw 1080's and 450's. I dont know what im going to do if I see one more sw 10. Def a love hate kind of thing though
