Idea for members

In addition to the post number we should also have like a star rating for each member. One through 5 and others members get to vote on them and their rating is displayed in thread below the post coun't. so post whores don't look like heros, and newbies don't look like fags.

no im pretty sure it would just be stupid, people would boost their rankings and just trash someone elses ranking that they dont like, and people would argue about it and say that they were better than someone else because they had a good ranking, and other stupid thing would come of it, i think that the bad outweighs the good, so dont do it

yah, but people are already saying that they are better than others cause they have more posts than the newbies, so that automatically makes the newbies idiots.

its true that people would for sure rate them low if they dont like them, but thered probably be more people being honest and rating shit as it should be, like in the picture section.

sounds like a novel idea. I've seen it done on other messageboards. You have to be a member for 30+ days on them too. That would avoid people making other screen names to make themselves sound better.

that is a good idea, but not everyone is going to vote for everyone. Sure Phrosty, Laterilis, Sam and all them will get tons of votes...little known people like me would get none, thus in a way defeating the purpose and creating another group of 'elite'

meh stupid. half the threads would be about that and some people would message others to ask for a ranking boosts. newbies would be judged as crap and many other bad things would come out of it. i've also noticed that the only ones up for it are the people who are most likely to be rated good
