Ida-Movie?

So as mentioned in another thread in the regionals here, I think it would be sick if we could maybe unite as Idaho skiers and kinda break free from the crews and groups that is bogus.

We have a lot of talent and a lot of technology/cameras at our disposal and we could probably turn out a pretty sick Movie by combining our footage at the end of the year and maybe filming with more then just each crew. Last year I noticed towards the end we had huge trains and shit going through the park and its starting to show how much freesking is taking off at bogus.

Now the part that I keep thinking would be the problem, people really don't like to share their clips when it comes down to it, or people don't like to be filmed by anybody but their little group of friends. If we could maybe work together not even like a film company but a little colab of everybody that films and all that bla bla.

I've talked to a few people that would be down but I'm still wondering who else would be for making this movie, It doesn't have to be produced like on DVD or anything but I think it would be cool to have a film we could put on Vimeo or Newschoolers and be proud of, maybe show at the yurt next year.

Just building upon someone else's Idea...
 
for shore its good to get the word out to have as much footy as we cani would be happy to edit up whatever anyone sends my way, or slap together pre-edited segments
i had an idea for the title... Idaho Pride. and the whole movie and cover theme would be lions and stuff like that? any other thawts?

i will contribute all my footie at the end of the season for sure.
the only way i see this going wrong everyone bitches about editing of the film which why i suggest using an outside party to edit.
my suggestion for a title is I.D. because it's Idaho's initials, and also identity and how closely many of us tie skiing to our identity
 
going off of this i thought of an idea yesterday ID.entity(things that look better than a period could be used to separate if desired)

Idaho entity

"Entity:something that has a real existence"

dude you havent heard????? Taylor Hoffman is THE IDENTITY of Idaho...he got arrested and it took 13 cops and 3 gunshot wounds to take him down.....i give this covver props!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
im down for this for sure. i think it would just be fun to try even if it fails. or it could turn out sick. it'd be awesome to see friends have a segment or something in a movie.

 
Instead of making it by one "film company" which there are a few of at bogus we could just kinda collab this. I think people could put together a folder of shots the want to contribute and a few people edit the damn thing. Hell we could have something at one persons house one or a couple days where everybody brings their labtops and shit or whatever and edit this thing, maybe a list of songs people could contribute.

That did not come out very articulately, but you get my points.
 
collab is the whole point of bringing idaho together to make this as sick as possible

i say why not try to make a whole movie and get it around in local shops?

then put it out on the internet after its premired or something like that.

i like the idea with everyone meeting up edit. it would be super fun to all work together and get input from everyone!!
 
I am good friends with guy(s) who edit the Prospecting Idaho webisodes. I'm sure they would be down to edit and even film anyone who wants to trek to Sun Valley

An easy idea I wouldn't mind putting together would be like a real dope 10-15 minute Idaho Pow edit....whoever has a GoPro can send me all their best footage and I'll make a cool GoPro Pow edit....that is something that could actually be done....so long as the footage is banger

 
id be game for that mac ill see if i can get a collection going thats more than just the same old brundage shit in all of my edits

but some not pov shots would be sick too but no one wants to stop skiing on a pow day to take stupid shots, haha.
 
i only have a go pro^ not a plethora of various devices for videography, but i mean the people being filmed as well as the person filming dont want to stop
 
Yea hopefully we get some pow soon... I'm dying to ride brundo/Tammy. Follow cam with the gopro in pow would be soooooo sick if done right. Or follow cam off cliffs, ect is money.
 
we just need to tell everyone that idaho skiing sucks so all the east coasters and yuppies stay in utah and colorado, i think
