Im having trouble choosing between the stl 177 or going with the japanese ski id-one, im on the east coast and need something i can carve on but also something less stiff, does anyone know which ones i should buy?

i think that you should go with 4frnts... idones look like a solid ski, but i think that they are really for moguls.. the are also stiff like a mofo

 
the idones might almsot be a better choice cuz rock hard moguls is basically what the eats coast is all about

first time i ever heard about them was at the TMC shop in whistler (shits near starbucks), supposedly they are only sold in japan and canada but you can order them from the TMC site (http://www.tmcmogul.com/), also there are a few freeride skis (try looking at the 04-05 catalogue and sorry bout it all being in japanese) i figure with more and more small companies coming out such as faction, liberty, and last year 4frnt its time to branch out from the big names and try new shit, which i did demo them but it was on blackcomb when it was 85 and slushy as fuck, i wanna know what they do on 10 degree eastcoast ice. also two other bonus' is that they have gold medals from salt lake and also if you ride on them nobody is going to say your shit is to mainstream (not that i really care but fags saying it about my 1080s all last season got old)

 
also there is a guy working at tmc who is building a ski line like the id-one but its going to be a less stiff powder ski coming out in 05-06

 
i've heard idones are actually really nice skis...
