Icons for NS

Okay, this is really starting to suck. I have been trying to put an icon under my name, but I can't make my image a 'jpg' or a 'gif'. I don't even know what those mean. Can someone help me out?

you need an editing program like photoshop. send me you .bmp and i'll help you out. fibula4@hotmail.com

ok open your picture with paint. Go to save as. Then in the window that pops up under the box you enter the filename go to the save as type list. Save it as a jpeg or gif.

Photoshop works better though.
