Icon Question...

So I made an Icon, and I want to upload it. I go to icons, and click on upload pic. My icon fits all requirements (.GIF, less than 2000 bytes, etc.) I go to browse, find the pic, and click upload. It says pic uploaded, but shows my old (current) icon. What should I do?

What should you do? Go up to your browser and hit refresh.

The icon most likely has already changed, it's just your browser saves the old one in your cache so you see the old one still. Refreshing should fix the problem

 
haha crazy. that confused the hell outta me a few days ago when i changed mine. i gave up and then i logged in the next day and it was changed

A while back I wrote a huge article for a thread explaining exactly how that phenomenon happens. Who knows where it disappeared to now.
