Has anyone heard of this? i was talking to a dynastar rep at a shop here and he was telling me that they were setting up a big mountain comp in Tallahasse, Florida. The same people that did the ICER Air in San Fran. The set up is crazy i guess, some super innovated snow making and shit and they use city features as like cliffs and stuff. Sounds pretty sick to me, hopefully everyone down there can experience skiing and see what its all about besides stupid racings and etc. i hope dan treadway wins. he has a sick name.

i heard they got some mad cliffs moved in from BC. so its real Candaian big mountain rock, makes it more authentic!
 
no they didn't. they have man made stuff, like what they use on hollywood sets, its pretty cool and its made of recycled materials, which is way cool.

yeah i heard about this when i was down in the area checking out colleges, i didnt belive it at first but its true, only its in jacksonville not tallassee
 
Yeah, people are going to ski down a big mountain course with big drops in Florida on 1 inch of man made slush rapidly melting? Sounds really safe.

ive been in orlando when ponds frooze and i had to wear winter jackets, hats and gloves. Disney world just isnt the same.
 
plake is skiing in it? thats crazy. i want boyd easley to show up and dominate out of nowhere. and whats the difference if SF can get snow, they cant get snow when its warm as fuck, and it was warm as fuck at the icer air, so your argument has no credibility. and christmas has nothing to do with it. AND they said they were using urban features, so they dont need a mtn i guess.
 
The difference is you can ski down a 2 foot wide inrun on 6 inches of slush, jump and land on another skinny ramp with slush. You can't ski "big mountain" type features with 6 inches of slush, think about it, this makes no sense why does anyone believe this crap.
 
haha, you'll be the only one there and you'll be like, "Those bastards! They lied to me!!!!" Then we can all laugh at you and say we told you so.
