Icelantic skis

what do you want to know about them? ive ridden most of their models and have a couple contacts within the company.

but mister searchbar could probably help you out too.

So i guess they make skis smaller than usually because thats what they wanted to do. My local shop has had them in for about 2 months. I don't think anyone has bought any. I wasn't really feelin the graphics when i saw them. They were a little wack.

i LOVE the graphics on em. their idea (was) that becasue their skis are wider, they dont need to be as long, as you still have a large area of surface. so wider instead of longer. this makes them much more managable.
they are starting to make longer skis this year. i have them at my shop and have sold them to many different kinds of skiers. i reccomend u check em out.
plus as far as i know they are one of a limited amount of TRUE CORE companies left if u are in to that sorta thannggg

i

got a chance to try out icelantics today. ben the owner was there all

day to answer any questions and chat it up. very nice guy.

i'm 6'3"-185 and normally ski k2 189 seths (192) or k2 189 hellbents

(194). yes icelantics are much shorter. but they're wider and

stiffer, which makes them ski much longer than what you think when you

see the specs. give them a chance.

nomad. 181cm. 140-105-130. stiff ski able to conquer any condition.

skied crusty morning chutes and heavy afternoon concrete. perfect

touring ski for the varied conditions that you get with the high

temperature flux's you get on spring days. the shorter length does

keep the speed down, which helps greatly with potentially shitty

conditions, trees, and enjoying the way down after all that uphill.

shaman. 184cm. 160-110-130. super stiff big mountain ski. crazy

shape like nothing you've ever seen plows through anything with a tip

shaped like elf shoes. if you're a big line skier under 6 feet tall

these could be your ticket.

da nollie. 180cm. 118-88-118. how many companies centermount their demo skis? soft buttery park ski.

pilgrim. 179cm. 127-90-113. agreesive carving ski. nothing too unique compared what else is out there.

I

would agree with all of your responses, except the one about the

shaman. I have rode the nomads, shamans, and pilgrims. The shaman is

really only a ski that is good for deep or smooth snow. With a 160mm

shovel, 110mm underfoot, and the pintail, they kill deep powder. The

one day I was on them (semi light snow in the morning to wet mank in

the afternoon), I was not able to sink the tip, ever. You can lean so

far forward on these its rediculous. This is the ultimate powder ski

if you dont want rocker and you like to turn. You can ski pretty fast

on them, but I wouldnt reccomend it as a big mtn charging ski. Too

much sidecut. Still a super sick ski, but I wouldnt want to charge on

it. They are a sick company with really well built skis, a cool owner,

and they are headed in the right direction too.

i want ur karma rating sooo bad.

and my shop has the shamans for a retarded price right now. 299!!! last years never been used.
