Icelantic skis

i know there are a few more threads on icelantic, but i saw an ad for em in freeskier magazine and they looks super sick, but is anyone feeling the short sizes, i ski shorter skis but do you think more people will be when icelantic becomes more popular?

They would be good for a shorter person, but face it, shorter skis are less stable. They would be a good length for me, but I'm 15 and not done growing yet. Just not worth the money for a ski you're going to outgrow before due time.

Yeah don't get me wrong, I used to snowblade and I was super into the idea of icelantic, but then I got full size skis and realized how truly wondrous they are.

They're not really for resort skiing, in case you guys were wondering. That's why they're Icelandic AT skis. Considering my AT skis are 193's, I can't see myself getting a pair. However, if I backcountry skied on the east coast or did some ski mountaineering I'd consider them for sure. But I don't, so I'm sticking with the big sticks.

NO DUDE YOU HAVE NOT RIDDEN ICELANTIC'S I DEMOED THERE SKIS OMG MOST STABLE SKIS I HAVE RIDDEN IN MY LIFE THEY ARE FAT SKIS SO THEY MAKE UP FOR THE LENGTH

ICELANTIC'S SKIS ARE O MAZING LIKE MOST AMAZING SKIS I HAVE EVER RIDDEN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sorry i am excited

would the scouts be decent all-around?

i'm looking for something fatter and these sound pretty sick

all-mountain, all the pow i can find, and maybe screwing around in the park (keep in mind i'll still have my scratches)

i know a guy that rides 156 center mounted nomads and he is absoutely amazing. strongest skier i have ever seen in my life. tell him to straightline anything on those things and he will do it and make it look good.

i rode the 168s and i guarantee you they are more ski than my 176 gots

i think their target market is very small but still a good product

i kno one of the reps. they are making longer sizes as we speak. they are sick skis. you should try a pair.

there's an article about them in this uk mag called falline skiing and they are indeed making longer sizes and the graphics are super nice too. based on legendary warriors.

they are a designed for backcountry touring and for skiing glades, they wont appeal to most, but are exactly what some people are looking for in a ski.

I have a pir of this years 169 pilgrims and the 151s I am 6ft 150lbs and love both. the 169 is super flexy and fun and the 151 are stiff as hell and turny and poppy. I can sit on the tips of the 151s with out the tips bending at all. the 169s are soft and you butter like crazy but still stiff enough to land big 70+ ft jumps.
