Icelantic nomad

Hi newschoolers, i was recently offered a sweet deal on a pair of Icelantic Nomads in a 168. I really like the ski and think it would fit my style perfectly, however i am sceptical about the relatively short length.I am around 5'9 and 135 poundsI am an advanced skierand i like my skis stiffer than most of newschoolers.
also, if i do decide to pick them up what bindings would you recommend?
Any and all advice is appreciated because there really isn't that much information about them.

I'm 5'5" and like 120lbs, I've ridden them several times when I get to ski loveland if I fly out there... They're sick, the flex is awesome. Lengthwise, I think I was on 168s and I though they were fine for me, I normally ride 166 chronics. Maybe try demoing them, and consider what size you ride right now. They'd only be a couple inches shorter than you I think. But they're awesome skis.

I just wish icelantic didnt have such big size gaps. A 168 to 181 gap is pretty huge . i would snatch up a 175 in a heartbeat.

Wow never noticed that, that is a really odd gap. If anything I'd think they would drop the 156 and put in a 175 or something.

What do you guys think of the rossignol S6/Sickle? I've never tried a pair, but they look pretty fun. not to much info on them either as the S7 is such a huge success and they get overshadowed.

Quite a different ski from the nomad, with some rocker and a bit softer it's kind of a narrower icelantic keeper. Personally I find Rossi skis kind of dead and flat but I'm clearly in a minority because Rossi appears to be killing it lately.
