Ice rink snow

well in northern MI it hasnt started to snow yet, and my friend's friend told him that the ice rink allow you to take there snow. so we go to the first ice rink and the guy is like no. the 2nd one though allowed us to take there snow. so then we go to this apartment complex and set up a mad jump by a 4 ft rail

before we knew it we had about 6 people helping us set up and watching us. have any of you done this?

if not, it is really fun
 
hahaha.. you asked them if you could take there snow?

it's just gonna sit there and melt anyways

the first ice rink actually said no?

eveytime ive done it we just go and start loading it up and no one says anything
 
one time we went to this rink by my house and they dumped it right into the bed of the truck, it was so fluffy and nice
 
I ski everyday back behind the hockey rink at my school. I'm down with the Zamboni drivers. They always hook me up, putting snow where I need it and not kicking me out and what not. It's pretty ill though cause I've been able to ski pretty much everyday and just fool around on some fun little stalls and rails and what not, getting my steeze prepared for the season.
 
my buddy and me tried doing the same thing last fall but the rink peeps said that it was a safety hazard, and my day was shot to hell
 
i used to have the guys at my old rink do that, then they claimed they couldnt cause of insurance, they couldnt knowingly give it to us because then they can be liable if someone gets hurt on it...LSS they told us to just wait till the doors closed and they couldnt see us anymore
 
i loled. but thats a good idea, never thought of that, but in chicago/boston it gets way too hot in the summer, might work about now oct/nov though
