Yeah, bit perplexing that everyone acts like they're contributing by dumping a bucket of ice water on their heads in lieu of donating money. I gotta think that most of the celebrities who are doing this are donating money AND dousing themselves to increase awareness.
 
pay a little attention. You're supposed to dump the ice and donate $25, or don't dump the ice and donate $100.

however even with that in mind, I highly doubt most of these people donate anything.
 
If i get nominated i'm donating $100 and stil doing it. I'd do it for the fun of it, not to avoid paying 100. My family donates money to ALS research every year cause my Uncles dying from it and there really is no cure.

I saw this in the beginning of the Ice challenge, but now its "Either dump this on your head, or donate 100"

Another moronic social media fad for a good cause. Just like kony 2012, and the countless other crap that goes around...99% of people don't donate.I do know two kids who did donate $100 each though so im sure there are thousands who have.

Yeah... Lol. I flipped into an ice cold RIVER in early april. one of my FB friends called me out and i aint a pussy so i did it. was awesome
 
Everyone I see who posts about it doesn't even mention anything about pouring ice water instead of donating. They just post whatever the hashtag is and how they are raising awareness for something I don't even know what they're taking about. They are doing a terrible job.
 
Stumbled upon this again looking through my threads and realized how butthurt I got over it
