True. I wouldn't reccomend it if you have nice glass. the sudden warming could fuck your glass over. We had a shitty cheap bong.

It's not even the sudden warming. It's also the sudden cooling of a boiling hot piece of glass being set down which can literally explode the glass. If you do this, and you don't fuck up your bong by putting the water in, set it on a blanket for a few hours.
