yup. tis true. and shes a beaut. about 46 inches long, 11 wide.

the deck is V-Lam maple and Poplar, 11 1" strips. the base us laminated with a shitload of unidirectional 7 oz glass, with fiber orientation going like this:

0'

90'

45'

-45'

0'

0'

the graphic is a faux croc skin, laminated on like the old Ride kinks, its still soft to the touch. trucks are 180mm Siesmic quick turns, with blitin bearings and ABEC11 flashbacks, 78A.

what you cant see is the EXTENSIVE hand shaping that went into this board. it is 1/2" at the tips, but tapers down into the concave. the base edge also tapers up to meet the top of the deck. all sanded by hand. overall, i think the board took something like three weeks to finish.

i was able to take her out for her maiden voyage tonight, a few runs down a long straight development drive. holy crap. soooo flexy and snappy, the board literally jumps in and out of carves. this feeling is only magnified by the siesmic trucks. i still need to run down to the skateshop, cause id like to pick up some rubber risers, as well as some grind rails, so if it does bottom out in a carve, it wont fuck up the fabric, or toss me. but yes, definatly my best board ive ever built, and it blows the pants off any POS sector 9!

oh what!?! you want pictures too?!?

oh yea, the stencil says LF, for Life Force Longboards, and those pics are of it not QUITE finished up. shes done now.

^fuck yea man, for one, those trucks are SUPER turny, plus, with the slight rocker with when wieghted, and the flex and pop of the board, the thing is a pumping machine. itll lay down big carves fine, but its much happier rippin rail to rail as fast as possible. its suuuuuch a dope ride

how do you like those trucks? i didn't hear too many great things about them, but that was probably just from people who only ride randalls.

dude, they are SOOO sick. radals are ok, but they really arnt anything special. they are VERY turny and the springs take some getting used to, specially like while doin long mellow carves, cause it kinda wants to rebound you out. but once you adjust to how they ride, they are great. handle speed fine, and they carve off speed very quickly. while randals cant usually get too sideways in a normal road, within 2 or 3 turns, you can pretty much get your forward velocity down to bout nothing. highly reccomended.

cudo's it sounds like a great board. i like how you put carving trucks on a bombing body. cudo's.

it aint no bombing board, thats a slalom shape man, it just works well with Drop through speed boards cause theres no chance of wheelbite. the trucks, aprox. 50 for the set, maybe a bit more. wheels and bearings, bout 60. overall, with all the fiberglass, wood, , trucks, building supplies and shit, this board cost me 300-350. OUCH!
