I believe this is the video you are talking about... but anyways i'll see if i can find the song. but right now my computer is being a pain and i cant view the video.

GOD DAAAAAAAMN!!!!!! that shit was soooo fire! hands down that was the best "make me famous" edit to date. quite possibly the best pov edit i've ever seen.

the line u called ur drop on over the walkie was my fav. soooooo dope man i wanted more! id literally pay to see more of that. lol
why dont ski movies have more helmet cam shots in them? definatley my favorite angle.

If its done right its awesome, for instance jakecastdotcom I think is the guy and then ian provo do the helmet cam fuckin awesome like. If its done shitty though it just ruins the whole mood.

THAT RIGHT THERE was the best edit i have seen in a while.

Colors, skiing, helmetcam.....ffrreesshhh.

Correct.
The camera is a canon 5D MKII. As far as P.O.V cams goes, this thing is a fuckin beast. But, its the only system in the world where you can do stuff like this with a 15mm fisheye and 21mp sensor. The end result is pretty ill, I wish everybody could watch it in full HD the way it was meant to be.
thanks for watching, im stoked you guys like it.

dude, so fuckin awesome. you own the utah backcountry. the lines during that 2nd song were rad. all the snow looked soooooo good.

sick lines. Last line was gnar. That left turn from the left foot forward slash was mean. nice work dude!

that's so sick it's a 5d mkII i was thinking about how quality the footage was and i thought it was just a handheld camcorder or something. do you but it in a protective case or anything or just bareback it taped to the top of your helmet?
is the 15mm the only lens you film p.o.v. with?

I have the camera in a nylon bag to shed the snow and what not. the camera is attached to a skydiving helmet with a micro ball-head and a mounting plate. my brother is a skydiver so he was the inspiration for this setup. The 15mm gets the job done, anything bigger and weight of the system on your head becomes absurd.

The first and last lines during the last song were sick.

All that footage looks damn good. I'd expect that sort of quality in a full production movie.

I just keep watching this! its SOOO first person, if somebody threw a snowball at me id think i was actually skiing.

anybody think this has mainstream potential for like Imax or something? cause I know people would pay to experience that.

and yeah, the 180 revert is soooooooo badass!

I need to get out into the Uintas and everywhere else next year. That edit has inspired me... and that End of April Uintas edit from awhile back blew my mind.
