This thread isn't really calling him out, and I'm reluctant to post this, but I just would like someone who knew him personally to let me know what was going on or to tell him to get back to me. I need my boots to ski.

I sent my payment to him for the boots on October 28th, and I still don't know for sure if they have actually shipped or not. From what I was told, there were delays in shipping it, but he assured me that they were shipped. However, I haven't received the tracking number he said he would give me.

His last login was November 15th, and his last response was November 12th. In between that, I sent him a PM about the tracking number on Nov. 13th, which was marked as read but not responded to.

Hopefully it's just a miscommunication/legitimate delay and not him trying to pull something, as that would be a hassle and something I wouldn't want to deal with.

how did u send the money? paypal? if it doesnt work out, they really protect buyer conditions
 
yeah I paid with paypal. I don't want to file a claim right now, I'm gonna give it some more time. but how long should I wait? like what would be the latest?
 
True. I would personally try to give him until friday, then file a claim. I sell on here, and I ALWAYS wait until the money arrives and the check clears. I let the buyer know of this in advance, so there is no confusion.

Im hoping this is just a miscommunication. This has been happening all to often-over the summer there were ALOT of cases like this. Its pretty sad that people need to rip others off.....especially in such a small community like NS.

I sure hope it all gets worked out. Many of these are simple communication errors.

i have heard about slow shipping, especially from US to CANADA. i have skis in the mail that hopefully arrive here soon, 7-10 day shipping is what its supposed to be for me, today is day 9
 
I ran an IP check to see if there were any aliases. It seems that another user by the name of "skipocketrockets" has logged onto the same computer as Iamaskier_102. Try messaging skipocketrockets.

bump. skipocketrockets hasn't been on since Nov. 19th, so in turn he hasn't responded to my PM.

Can anyone get in touch with him in person or know anything? I've tried calling him several times over the course of some days and either something happened or he's just not picking up. I've also sent emails to his email address listed in his profile and the email address that's listed under his/his parent's paypal and still no answer.
 
i woul go ahead and file a claim...it takes a while for paypal to work it out, so worst case scenario you have to wait a few weeks for paypal to give you your money back, best case; he finally answers you and lets you know whats good and you cancel the claim and get your boots.
 
i was on a trip over all of thanksgiving. and yes i should have let u know but i was told i would have internet access on this trip. i gave u my phone number and did not recieve a call. and now they have been sent out sorry for everything.
 
Just to update this thread and to clear things up, I finally got the boots I bought from him today. Although they did not come quickly, he is not one to scam you.
