I70 is closed

as of right now, the plan is to open the road at noon. Plows have stopped plowing the roads until the snow stops and we are getting stranded cars and people off the road to shelters. It will open as soon as its safe to travel on. Right now the snow is falling too fast to be plowed safely.
 
Mother Fucker, i left Summit last weekend to return home to Maryland and now this? I wish i was at A-Basin right now =(
 
Where are you getting your road opening at noon tomorrow info from?

I am in Vail, but want to go ski at Loveland tomorrow since there is hardly any new snow here and its currently like 40 degrees.
 
Yeah, the closure reports were just updated and stated that the rest of the night would be spent cleaning up 70 and that no time had been given for when it might open. Im not too optimistic about the opening though, might have to try to find my way around to winter park through estes, but iv never driven anyone know if there are areas on that direction that are closed often?
 
I can't sleep because im anxious and worried about getting up there tomorrow, fuck, doesn't matter how much weed i smoke, snow gods please get me up there!!!
 
That might take some time, there was an avalanche lastnight that buried some cars. Its closed while they clean up the mess. It happened about 630 last night.
