I won a pair of signed Jon Olsson skis... what should i do!?!?

Hey everyone... I won a new pair of Mojo 90's w/ the mojo bindings signed by Jon Olsson by playing that ridiculous but highly addictive game (tyroliafreeride.com) which is so fucking awesome but I think I have to sell them. I have $80 in my bank account thanks to payin my law school tuition & books this semester. I can't believe I need to sell them, but I have a new pair of PEs anyway and have no money. How much do you think I should sell them for? I was thinking I could maybe $750 for them on ebay. Anyone interested in them?
 
you're insane if you'd ski on a pair of pe's over a brand new pair of heads. auction off the gay2 pubic enema's and ride the head's. and in regards to the money situation: ramen noodles.
 
sell you pes and mount them on your wall and just admrire them for a couple years untill you can get your pention and then you can buy skis again
 
ahhh but i need the $$$$$ dammnitttttttt. Yeah they're the '07 Mojo 90s. The skis haven't come yet, if they're 176s then maybe ill consider keeping them. If not they're not I def won't keep them, even though it would be fucking sick to have them on the wall. Any idea how much I could get for them though guys?
 
woah a 2007 Mojo 90 went for $220?? Thats crazy. These also come with the mojo bindings too... how much you think the signature would add?
 
Fuck all of that advice man. It's a person's name on a pair of skis. Really not that exciting and since you need money, go ahead and sell them if you think it'd help you financially. If you want to ski them because you like the skis, then do that.
 
So what if their signed? There isn't a big enough fan base in skiing to make it worth any value. Maybe I'm just weird, but I wouldn't pay extra for a pro skiers signature. Congrats for winning though.
 
yeh but fuckers from jon's homeland would, they love the man. sell them and keep your k2s, fuckwhat everyone else said make skrilla and keep the better skis, k2s
 
The man speaks the truth. Unless all you do is ride park the Mojo is a far superior ski. Also, it sounds like you'll have a little money coming in at some point in the future, so I wouldn't worry too much about that. But then again, I've never really cared all that much about money.
 
I think this makes a lot of sense... plus the skis won't probably arrive here for another week or two. How do you think I go about selling to the scands?
 
I would either ski them cause Mojo 90s are sick, or keep them in a closet or on the wall. Think of it this way: you didn't pay anything for them so You aren't losing anything by keeping them. Sure they aren't worth that much more because of the signature but for people like me who love skiing and look up to guys like Jon who have been killing it since this sport pretty much started to gain steam, they have sentimental value. ex: I have a shirt and pack of phillies signed by CR and Tanner. Is it worth anything? no, but I still think it is cool because when I am 50 I will pull this thing out of the bottom of some dusty box and It will say T-Hall CR Johnson and C-Crew and it will remind me of this moment in my past and this segment of skiing history. KEEP THEM!
 
keep the PE's, i skied the mojos and harldy wonder how jon can jib with em..he's a robot...!
 
ODNT SELL THEM !!!!! put them, on your wall and admire them........then selll them, jk id hate to be in your position right now
 
well i herd that if you sell them jon olsson well come to your hose and kick the shit out of you . so i would keep them for ever only ski them on special occations wich is like ever day of your live , and to pay full respect to jon , you should really mounted them how he mounteds his , ahead of dead center.
 
I'd say dont sell them, like someone else said, you aren't losing anything by getting them, hell, what would you do for cash if you hadn't gotten them?

hold em, they might gain value over the years.
 
i had a pair of troublemakers signed by mikael dechenaux that he had skied on. i skied the signature off of them and then they broke in half
 
Those fucking cost $1000 with the signature. And don't sell them over Newschoolers someones bound to rip u off. throw them up on ebay
 
honestly who here enless u are spoiled rich will pay for just the signature..... sell the PE keep the mojos scan the signatrue and iron it onto all of ur cloths make stickers out of it and put them on ur skiis, car, girlfriend....

As much as I love Jon, mounting the skis on my wall isn't really worth it, I'd rather sell the skis to someone who would want them more and buy a big badass poster of him mid-kanagaroo flip or something... and selling them would at least help me out with my low $$ situation. I also don't know the length of the skis... and I have a feeling they're not gunna be the right length.

Would someone really pay $1,000 for these? The thing I was thinking about is that signatures aren't really worth anything unless you have a certificate of authenticity (which I doubt would think). If anyone here wants to pay $1000 for them I'd definitely be willing to sell em haha.
