I won a K2/NS giveaway - one month, still no word

On the 3rd of January, I got a message from the K2 instagram, congratulating me on winning a pair of K2 B&E boots. A few messages back and fourth confirmed the size and the address. It’s been well over a month and I still haven’t heard anything about the shipment process. I have tried to contact them several times now, at first they responded by saying that they are experiencing shipment delays, but that was 3 weeks ago. My last inquiry is left unanswered.

Feel kinda weird seeing as through I did not pay for the boots. I’m obviously super stoked and grateful for winning the pair. Don’t know how much more I can or should be nagging. Still, would be nice to get the boots before the season is over.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
 
Definitely keep nagging them, but try reaching out until they give you that shipping confirmation. Im sure whatever marketing guy runs the Insta doesn't manage the shipping of the prizes. So I'd suggest contacting them through their website with the screenshots and whatever other proof you'd have.
 
nagging is always fine, you were technically chosen to get it for free. Did you check to see if the official ns account dmed you?

Thanks for the input. I have tried contacting cusomer support now :)
 
I understand your concerns [tag=271517]@tutipups[/tag] and [tag=279641]@Jacobthesadskier[/tag], but I have not shared any sensitive info other than my address. Also, the Instagram page is not verified which at first seemed weird, but it has 220k followers and is followed Newschoolers, Ferdinand Dahl, etc etc... I guess they just havn't sorted the verification yet.

Probably just an admin thing, through multiple departments.

Definitely the proper K2 account (k2.skis) tho so idk.
 
kinda like wonka but instead you are now Willy K2. takes a bit of time but soon you will be living in the K2 factory and your entire social circle will be those beings that make the K2s. eventually you will be tasked with facilitating a contest yourself to select your successor
 
[tag=279295]@0sum[/tag] Yeah, super weird for them to stress that NS will contact you, and for K2 to be the ones who ended up doing it. That is why I was super cautious at first as well, and noticed that the account was not verified.
 
I won a Line skis giveaway back in October and received my skis last week.

I'd assume your gonna have the same experience since there sister company's and all that stuff is coming from the same warehouse

After messaging all my info it took two-ish months for a response about shipping

congrats on your free boots, might take a while tho

Sorry to hear you have not received your prize yet. I can assure you the giveaway is real (as is all our giveaways). You were contacted by the k2 marketing department and likely customer support as no idea about this or has a ticket number for it.

K2 has been experiencing some serious shipping delays lately. I know this because I too was waiting for a pair of boots for over 2 months but they showed up last week.

It's very reassuring to get such a response. I fully understand that there are shipment delays, guess I'll have to patiently wait in line :))

Shoutout Newschoolers for providing a platform where you can chat with experts, professionals, and people who work in the industry. Super helpful in situations like these.

Thanks to the people who told me to downsize in my other post btw, these are a much better fit than my old boots.
