I will paypal 100 dollars to

look out! i hear scott vail is almost done his expert village trick tip video on that lip 2 on pretz 2 out
ill have him pm his paypal account to you so you can send him that Benjamin Franklin you promised

i don't think will did a switch LIP 270, his was just sw 270

holy fuck that would be tech...

...ill film it and get some skrill...

i always get confuse which is lip spinning switch.. if i aproach the rail, looking downhill, from the left, spin left, and slide right foot forward, is that lip?

yea that's a lip

basically what ever part (front or back) is trailing should be the FIRST thing to go over the rail

a sw lip if you are on the left side of the rail is spinning left and sliding right forward right? if so then once you get that the pretz 270 out would be just like a normal fs 270 out? i might try that

any size rail, i just wanna see it on an urban whatever. doesnt have to be on the streets, can be an urban rail/box on the mountain.

j-bone and margets were doing them 2 years ago at wsi on a legit down rail.

other then that dom laporte was doing them this week end at freeskitle at val st-come

hahahahahahha best icon ever.
there is a 13 year old at my hill who ive seen do it. but the kid is INSANE

See...I thought a sw lip 270 was the easy way. Lip being your tails over the rail first.

I thought we were calling tips first sw 270 the "hard way". Even though while riding switch, your tips essentially become the tails.

Thoughts?

short for lipslide. means you spin away from the rail as you get on. so if i approach from the right side of the rail, and jump on left foot forward, (my tails go over first) thats a lipslide. coming from the right side again, if i do a rightside 270 on, thats a lip 270.

thats not switch lip.. switch lip is tips over first.. and its hard as fuck to get your tails back over the rail. And to the thread creator, you should have said it has to be done on a legit setup.

wait, i'm still mad confused. i've always thought of lip as spinning away from the rail, therefore a sw lip 270 would be tails over first. if i come in switch and the rail is to my left, i would spin rightside 270 and slide left foot forward... but some are saying in this thread thats its tips over first

Not switch though.

Think of it this way, when you're going in switch, your tails and noses switch positions. So, going switch tails over is really just the normal way on but switch noses over is switch lip.

IF YOUR TIPS GO OVER FIRST: Switch lip

IF YOUR TAILS GO OVER FIRST: Switch hardway/regular/tails over/whaetever you want to call it.

That last video is the first legit switch lip 2 pretzel 2 in this thread. The one LJ does in Gang! is a switch 2 hard way(or whatever you wanna call it) pretzel 2.

Get learned.

what eves dude, all that shizz came from skateboarding and its much harder to do switch tails over first. call it what you wanna call it what the orgianl thread creater is talking about is coming from the left side of the rail and spining left 2 on tails go over the rail.

^ eheath is right. noses overrrrr.

switch lip is when ur noses go over the rail. So basically switch lip is easier than switch "hard way" or whatever u call it.. but when u r spinnin on i think that lip is harder.

and yeah that happypro guy does a sw lip 2 prtzl 2 out in that video!

lip. he was on the side of the rail that was closer to the camera and the leading tips of his skis (in the case, his tails) spun away from the rail. lip.
