i watched my first and my last warren miller flick. i watched journey, which was extremely boring and long, and made skiing look bad compared to snowboarding.

to make it worse, i had to endure that shit while i was trying to convince my new college friends to watch a quality movie like 1242, long story short, or sh 6. they thought i was missing out because i had never seen "a warren miller" haha

shanghai six was one of the worst movies ever. i hat their style of showing the same feature over an over with so much filler in between, and then going on to the next feature. it was such a bad movie. it should have been called gayhai dix.

there was nothing good about it. even the soundrack sucked. every song was so annoying with the repeating chorus in every one.

yes i have this old ass wm movie called ski country where they do all these baller ass ski ballet shit, but they do like 7's and butters and shit.

none of you would be watching ski movies as you know them today whatsoever without warren miller, guy's approaching 90 and still puts out a solid contribution every year.

Warren Miller has brought us quality ski movies for 50 years, and for that we should all be grateful. Don't get me wrong, I don't get psyched for a ski season by watching Journey, but maybe Mr. Miller didn't have you or me in mind when he made the movie, a different type of skier? different generation? Just a thought

warren miller is not for us guys, im sorry. Warren Miller is for guys who ride cord on the week-end, not who hit up the park everyday. Show happy days, show and prove, long story short, teddy bear crisis to the average person and they woun't really know whats going on.
