So I was going through this longboarding site ( silverfishlongboarding) and found this post about newschoolers, which I feel is quite relevant with all of the recent discussions about maturity and all.

Being a noob myself though its kinda hard to judge.

this is an interesting post though, NS must be an immaturity magnet or something, because there are lots of nsers on that site. ( me for one)
 
Have you search barred? I believe a relevant term may include 'off' 'noob' and 'fuck', but I'm not quite sure I understand your question?
 
One thing that is different about silverfish is that it looks like the gear reviews are WAY better. Honestly I think that NS's review area sucks and no one uses it. instead, people usually just ask on the forum, which is fine anyways. I do think though that if the review area was better, there would be less unnecessary threads asking "which ski should I buy", etc.
 
They're working on it, have you looked around it recently? Also, it's up to the reviewers and the community to provide quality reviews to fill the review section with quality reviews. I've never relied on the silverfish reviews because things are a lot more straight forward in longboarding, which could be why you think that their reviews are better. It's not as subjective imo, just my two cents.
