My plan is to write a random adress without stamps and write a return adress from another country.(I live in Canada). So if you want to participate in my test, all you have to do is PM me your full adress and I might post you something to test it out(OMFG RANDOM STICKERZZZZ !!!!!!) . I'd like adresses from people very far away from me like Japan, NZ or Australia. I'll keep you updated as soon as I have results !

JEEEAAAAA

Your problem is that canada post aint that stupid! How the fuck would a letter from half way around the world even begin the delivery process without a stamp???? you have clearly not thought this through! take another bong hit and go back to sleep.

Yeah, why would a letter posted mailed from a Canadian post office, have the return address in a foreign country. However, there is the slight chance that could work. If I were on vacation and sent a post card, I would put my actual return address, right? So that would mean a letter would be getting mailed very far away from my address with a return address on it. Chances are, it doesn't get out of Canada, or the post office it's mailed from.

once i tied a postcard to a helium balloon with my return address on it and let it go and then someone mailed it back to me! i think i was 11 or 12 and it was very exciting.

mailing shit without stamps is actually a great way to beat the postal system. for example:put your own address or a random one as the send-to address. then put the intended recipient as the sender's address (the one in the top-left corner). then send it without a stamp. the post office will reject it, and return to sender. bam, free mail.unfortunately this only works when mailing to people in your own town, but still.

I had typed out my address for you in a PM before i remembered I'm heading to Canada in 20 days so it would be pointless. Im in Aus by the way and I was looking forward to a random letter.

that exact same thing happened in england a month ago. except that it was the queen who found it and sent it back to the little girl.

this could be useful

no one in my town uses cell phones or AIM, we just send letters to each other to communicate outside of school and things like that.

Great idea!

It wouldn't go anywhere. In order for it to have gotten to Canada from a foreign country, it would have needed a stamp. Not to mention, post offices stamp envelopes with ink too. All yours would be is a white envelope with some pen marks on it. Nothing it would happen.

is your town in a time warp somehow? where the fuck do people not use cell phones or computers to communicate when they are young? are you amish?

here's how to beat the postal system, at least in the U.S. blind people don't have to pay for standard mail, if you write "Fee free to the blind" in the corner it will get delivered, however, it's going to take a long ass time just to get to the town next to you

no you could do it out of town, say you or I went on vacation, wrote a letter and dropped it off, and we used our regular home address even though we are away. i bet this has been said already, sorry if it has, but just sayin.

The real problem with this is that it is actually considered mail fraud, in which case you could possibly go to jail, for a very long time.

Wow, going to jail for posting a letter without stamps "by accident"I'm not going to try to ship a car. Just a little enveloppe.

the real problem with that is how the fuck are they going to tell who mailed it silly. doooubbt that'll go to a fingerprint lab.

? I didnt find that post offensive at all.
I dont know anyway, it could be fun and all, but the mail system is fucking badass, people bust their sack everyday shipping out letters and packages, I think the deserve the god damn 40 cents for a stamp

So they'd have to hire a police officer to do an investigation. Then, since I'm sending the letter to another country and won't put my real name/adress, they'd have ton investigate in the receiver's country halfway across the globe for an 1.75$ international stamp. Or, if the mailing system thinks I'm trying to screw them, they might just put the letter in the thrash can.
Yup, I'm facing big legal trouble
