I want to go skiing right now

Here's what I'm doing tomorrow STEAMBOAT>DEN>HOUSTON>BUENOS AIRES>BARILOCHE skiing on TUESDAY!!!! done with summer.

I have common sense. I do not live near the ocean so I do not spend my time practicing surfing. How does one get into skiing enough to join a forum when they don't live near an actual ski hill? I do not spend time lurking in surfing forums. See my reasoning for asking the question, I'm legitimately curious...

Well he prob spends more time skiing then you. How many days do you get in, in a winter season? Maybe 50. Well that means if he just goes to a dome once a week he will ski as much if not slightly more then you in a year. Just because we don't live near mountains here in the uk does not mean we are not really into skiing. Look at woodsy. One of the best comp skiers in the world and he comes from Sheffield.

Not being able to ski sucks! Summer is just a sad time where many of us go and cry... and/or longboard tramp and other fun things.

when I had questions about skiing I searched them on google and found these forums all the time and then one day I decided to join up.

I already bought skis today and I am impatiently waiting for Killington and/or the Mount Snow Launch Pad to open.

holy shit dude, is this a joke? you realize timberline is open 12 months of the year, and crystal was open til mid June this year right? i live in seattle too and skied 10 days at t-line between june 15th and today, definitely kept me from going crazy, and the park there is the tits! unfortunately tomorrow is their last day, but you of all people should not be missing skiing dude, you literally live in the best spot in the world for getting turns all year round. hike baker or some shit and shred huge suncups next weekend!

You can get 1, one year long freebie visa to work in Oz and 1 for NZ up until you're 30. That means that you can get a job and work at a ski area in the southern hemisphere as soon as you pull your shit together. If you work hard enough they might just hire you back the next season. Good luck!

hahaha i see someone's extra sensitive today.

And you're trolling with that "insult," right? You have to be, nobody can be that much of a slave to the culture they live in

I live in seattle too, where will be a good place to go for first snow? near rainier and build a kicker?

Dude, I'm sorry, but your being pretty ignorant.

If you don't live right by the sea, you can't be in to surfing? If you don't live right by the mountains you can't be in to skiing? Just because you're not into it, doesn't mean others aren't. I come from Denmark, one of the flattest countries of the world, 6-7 hours from any legitimate skiing, and skiing is HUGE there. I think somewhere around 400.000 people go on skiing holiday every year, out of a population of 6 million. Your reasoning was flawed because you weren't able to look beyond your own little world.

Light was a little flat, but being on the hill, making turns down here in Argentina does not suck.

damn you're lucky... its more like 12-13 weeks for me, and rail jams don't even start in my local area until mid-late November. at least i have a summer setup haha

Relax.. I was asking his story, not saying he couldnt be into it. Jeez louise... it's just not as common so probably a interesting story. Now you just look like a cunt..

Actually, because you got called out saying stupid shit, tried to pass it of as something else, and then proceeded to call me a cunt, you're the one that is a cunt. You are stupid and ignorant, and calling other people cunts aren't going to change that. Judging by this post, I'm afraid it's a permanent thing. Cunt.
