you looking for like heavier mainstream rap like 50 Cent?? haha not quite but you know... I know some cool hip hop bands which are a bit lighter. Not sure if that's what you want.

this is a serious question - i'm not much of a rap guy - more reggae or rock...
 
rap is mainstream, hiphop is underground.

although some people say rap is mad aggresive, and hiphop is mellower (i dont agree)

if you want some hard-ass rap id reccomend jedi mind tricks. im not a fan of hard rap thike this, but whatever floats your boat.
