Dude,
I feel you. I hope you learned something from this, because I've been there, even though I was 30 over and got off with a warning.
Then, 3 months later, I totaled my car pulling an improper U-Turn. If the Dodge Ram that hit my Toyota Celica had hit me about 5 feet back, I probably would have died or never skied again.
It gets better. My insurance will probably go up, and I'll probably have to take a class, but life goes on. You pick up and move on. That's all you can do.
For now, deal with the fact that you did something really dumb, and resolve never to do it again. I keep a mental list of things which I never do in a car now. I've been in 2 low speed wrecks and 1 high speed one, and almost gotten a wicked bad ticket because of some simple things.
1. Never drive with flip flops. They catch on pedals.
1b. Keep proper following distance.
Result of 1: Rear end collision.
$500 to fix the other lady's car.
2. Look 360 degrees when backing up.
Result: Backed into a woman. Never heard from her about the damage.
3. Don't speed, no matter what time or where.
Result: Almost got a ticket for: 30 over the speed limit, having too many passengers, cornering with excessive speed and using an illegal lighting system.
4. Never drive when you're tired
4b. Don't make U-turns if you can help it.
4c. If you must make a U-turn, look behind you first.
Cost: 1 Citation for an improper U-turn, insurance hikes of amount to be determined, and the loss of my pride and joy.

The moral of the story, learn from your mistakes. What you did was irresponsible and dumb, but the only thing worse is not learning from it.
