I want to build a couch

I have no money to buy one so i was thinking about building one.

will it work? has anyone ever done it? if you have, some tips would help alot
 
go to a thrift store and buy one for like 20 bucks dude. if you build one yourself its probably gonna cost more than that for materials and it will probably suck
 
my great gandfather built a couch that survives to this day, years of abuse haven't depleted it's usefulness in any way whatsoever. i have no idea how he did it though.

If you wont i can give you a couch. its like 30 years old and is sitting in my garage. But it is comfortable.
 
thats because your grandfather was a man. He was able to use his craftsmanship and knowledge to build a quality structure.
