I got near-new Volkl Vs with bindings for $180 from a guy on this site... do a bit of looking around and you'll find something. Check out eBay, old trashed Teneighties will go for really cheap there... or just buy a regular pair of skis for fifty bucks and twin-tip them yourself.

somewhere on the site there is a post on it, but i boiled the ends in a big pot of water then bent them in a vice, and you have to rivet around the tip when you are done so they dont delam. that is the basics but they dont look as cool as you think, i only use them for rails at school
