I want some Fat Skis

I want to get some powder skis and i have been looking at:

179 Seth Pistol

179 Seth Vicious

189 Made'N AK

185 ARV

I really like the made'n but i think it might be a bit stupid for NZ snow. but i may come to canada in january so they might be alright. What do u reckon would be the best?

Also if anyone has some old pistols for cheap i'll buy em. has to be cheap though cause shipping to NZ is fucking expensive. (unless someone is coming here for our winter). PM me.

if u are really skiing a lot of powder than u should get the made n's, but if i didnt get those i would get the seth vicious

 
Get the 179 made'ns. Float through anything, and are still short enough for park and inbounds.

If you're skiing park too get the Arv. I have the Arv and they're perfect skis for park too , i like em a lot

these would just be for powder and occasionally skiing in the park but i have some 179 fujas for park. would +4 on made'ns be ok for that?

Yes. I had a pair of 189 Made'ns at +4 and they rocked. I currently have a pair of 179 Made'ns at +5 and they are sick as hell too. Plenty of float still, but the forward mount greatly reduces the swing weight.

If it's wider, it makes up for the length. Like pollard's skis, the wider they get, the shorter they get.

Dude im 6, 1 and rock a 169 seth vicious slightly back from center mount and its sick i can use that ski anywhere on the mountain and its great in pow

you're 6'1" and you ski a 169???

umm...i can understand skiing maybe a 175 as a Park-only ski if you were that tall...but using that in powder would suck.

you should get a ski that actually fits you. I'm 5'10" and my everyday ski this season is a 189 Seth Vicious. I have a 179 Seth Pistol for park, but it is pretty short for actually skiing pow and big mountain well. I think I would go insane trying to ski the 169.

 
yeah 169 at 6'1" is ridiculous. I went from a 158 to a 179 (grew over summer) and i used my 158's for some jibbing a few days ago. Seemed like fucking blades. go as big as u can handle.

I'm 5'7'' and ride 165 Explosives and they work sooo well.
