instead of getting snow at the crowfoot arena hit up the crowfoot liquor store, buy some 40's of Colt 45 and go chill in bowness after. It's summer man.
i found out crowfoot does, and i live in bowness, but now i dont ahve the time to do this shit or drink colt 45s ;\ so yeh, but anyone else, crowfoot does just go in and ask the ebst time to come around
shouldice always has snow, and the arena up by peters should have some as well, cant remember the name but its the double arena just east of peters drive in on 16th
by the way, I don't know if you've noticed, but by the time they dump snow and you go pick it up drive to your rail and set your drop in up, usually when its 25 degrees outside out it has melted. If I were you i'd wait till fall when its chillier or go to whis or something.
So, I hiked up to Sunshine last weekend (actually it was Healy Creek). There's still about 1m+ snow at that elevation. I suggest hiking your gear and a rail up there. It's probably easier in the long run....and the views, ya, they're a bit better.
